What bands do you hate?

The title says it all.

Now, before this is closed, I'd like to say that I'm hoping for a more intellectual discussion on what bands you dislike and why. I want no stupid childish sniping, just a completely honest and open thread on why these bands suck. In your own opinion.

Admittedly, I can see this turning into a flame-forum type domain for mindless insults, however... this is MY thread, so you play by MY rules, so there will be no flaming. I can't stop you? Well, I'll have to contact the mods and cry to them about how you're ruining my thread.

Also, this is a personal opinions thread, so quoting others is fine, just as long as nobody bashes anybody in particular. Just state why you hate them, maybe quote somebody... but not overly long posts on how shit one band is. Leave that for the flame-forum, kiddies.

Anyway.

On-topic. Bands I hate would have to be...

Scooter - what is this? C'mon, dance-trance-shit? I'm not bashing anybody who likes dance music, but this music is pure crap. I despise this band for the pure fact that they have no imagination and knowledge to what music is. They use a lot of high-pitched voices in their songs, which drives me completely mad. I hate this band purely for the sake of hating.

I hate that little hobbit called Kurt Nilsen, looks like a **** with rabbit teeth and sings like a rat under a truck....
Also I hate tekno/dance/trance and all that crap... plus country and all rap except cypress hill....

basically I hate most things that have nothing to do with metal...

There's very few bands which I actually hate really. I'm able to see some positive qualities in most of the bands which I am not too fond of, and those which I can't see anything positive in are usually so bland that it's hard to have any opinion on them.

I really can't stand U2 though. Bono and his self-indulgent Jesus-trip makes me sick, and I'd LOVE to hear The Edge play just one song without using an effect pedal.

WHERE DO I START?!

Ok, my first criticism is of a band belonging to MY genre of music that is Indie.
Why do i despise a popular indie band being an indie gal myself? Two words. PETE DOHERTY. This guy can't sing and is talentless. He performed a very bad-on drugs performance at live 8 while slagging the whole idea off, then he goes and doesnt turn up at his own gigs. Im not a fan of their music either.

G4 and Il Divo (theyre the same), they are operatic guys i.e. crap that housewives wish for their daughters to marry. Thankfully my mum is a rocker!

Westlife... why do they win "song of the year" so often? That place should be for some decent music! Theyve been around for at least 8 years and i think they should retire as all their stuff sounds the same and/or is a crappier cover version of an already shit song!

Yeah, just to repeat the bands I hate... OASIS. Drone drone drone all of their songs! And Westlife (Pestlife) of course. All the little girls buy thier songs which takes them to no.1

My Chemical Romance-...Gerard Way praticaly crys down the mike and has NO vocal talent at all.
Greenday - Becuase they have always been terrible and they are hugely overplayed
Fightstar - A Ex-busted members pityful attempt of what he says is a good band...Terrible
Linkin Park - Are just plain crap
Aiden - Their music is annoying and they all look hystericaly stupid espicaly the lead singer his make up is so badly done, that he looks like a bloody rodeo clown.

ermmm no i really doubt that he can,iam intilted to my own opinion anyway i didnt think that anyone would take it so personaly, and by the way your streotype of metal is totally wrong its not only just screaming at all and death metal/black metal singing needs alot of praticising to sound any good some of the metal i listen to has clean vocals,growling,and screaming vocals actully for your information..and this is a example of pure talent Gaahl from Gorgoroth on "Unchain My Heart" holds a Black Metal scream for around 20 seconds!! i,d love to see Gerard Way even attempt 5, and the musicians are highly talented also....but anyways drop the subject i didnt come on here to have a pety arguement about what bands i like or dislike everyone has different opinions and i can accept that, but i have my own and iam intitled to them.

Ah I agree with you 100% there.

I thought Megadeath was like one of those metal pioneer bands everyone says started the genre, no? I may be mistaken, but they sound shit anyway.

And It's The White Stripes. I'm pretty sure they're not married, just horny for each other. I can't say they're bad, because at the moment, I'm learning to play their stuff. It's relatively easy

It's Mega Deth, not Mega Death. They're not Metal pioneers as much as Thrash/Speed Metal pioneers, along the lines of Slayer, Metallica, Venom, Celtic Frost, and Anthrax.
