Annoying TV Commercials...

There's already a commercial thread on this forum. That thread is dedicated to your favorite TV commercials. In this thread, however, you will describe a commercial or two that you currently find really freaking annoying. For whatever reason.

So, there's this commercial... and it's for some restaurant... and I guess it's "Jamaican" food, or something, that they're advertising... and they got this guy talkin' with a "Jah-mayee-ken auk-cent, mon!" Because that makes it more authentic, I guess. And then there's the view of the food. The food and the voice-over are supposed carry the commercial by themselves, I suppose.

Sometimes, I will see this commercial, once or twice, in the same commercial break... Don't make me throw my beer can at you, TV screen...

I dunno... it's just a rather obnoxious commercial... I have nothing against Jamaicans. I have something against fake Jamaicans on the TV, however, that show up fifty-million times a day... just like any other TV commercial that shows up fifty-million times a day... with little to no real substance to them.

So, have there been any TV commercials lately that piss you off?

There's a commercial that isn't on almost at all anymore except for occasionaly on G4. It's for the victim relief fund for the hurricane and the part that bothers me is they used to run it constantly. But the part that made me hate it more than anything is there's this weird choir that you hear and it's just freaking annoying to hear when you've heard it a million times that day already. I hate the commercials music overall, at least it isn't on so much anymore.

There's a toyota commercial.

Nothing special, just a car commercial. There's this one ghetto chick on there that says " I want some of that " in the middle of it.

I swear I want to shoot her. I don't know why, but her voice and the way she says it gnaws on my brain like a dull cheese grater. It drives me insane.

I just find commercials for local auto malls
to be friken annoying -_______-; It's the
SAME thing EVERY time!!! Same guy speaking
in the same old tone, same background,
almost the same cars! Nothing has ever been
new for years....

Secondly, if I look at it in a broader sense
I just think ALL commercials are annoying.
I just wannawatch my friggin program.

CAR ADVERTS! The only one i like is that one with the dancing robot, the dog-car one is ok and the animated one with Kasabian's Processed Beats in the background... the rest are cheesy.

I REALLY DETESTE KIDS TOY ADVERTS THOUGH! WITH THE CHEESY SINGING! has anyone else noticed they have 14-year olds on barbie adverts? I dont get that, but its them nasty jingles. Grr... Baby Wee Wee was a good advert though! XD

I just thought of another one: that skittles commercial where the guy's beard is alive, or something, and he's using it to eat skittles and stroke the lady's face. The lady tells him that they need someone with more experience, and he laughs. I guess he's guessing that the real reason they won't hire him is because of his beard, or something, and he's supposed to be laid back about it, or whatever... but that BEARD!! EW!! Fuckin' gross! It disturbs me, a little.

Basically, any advertisement for personal products. Soap, shampoo, shaving cream, make-up, clothes, fine. Condoms, KY, maybe. Hemorrhoid stuff, tampons, sanitary napkins, yeast infection treatments, hell no. I don't want to see any of that, and especially not at six in the evening while I'm trying to eat dinner.

My favorite, though, was the Boston Market triple-chocolate "tunnel of fudge" cake. And the Aspercreme "You bet your sweet Aspercream" commercial wasn't bad, but they changed that pretty quick.

I find life insurance commercials to be most annoying. It's always "Protect your loved ones...blah, blah blah, premiums won't change...blah, blah, blah." There's so many of them and they're not even remotely interesting.

Also, I find commercials using half-naked girls to be annoying. Call me a weird guy, but I just think it's stupid to do that and it gets really old.

Stupid commercials...

i hate those new cell phone commercials the ones that liet you play videos games music in the commercials the person says stuff like you fight with him ,you turn up the radio you shake your junk

Yeah that skittles one is pretty bad.

Currently I'm fairly annoyed with the Diet Coke Zero commercials. They are just totally lame and uneventful. They don't even make any sense. Stupid.

Other than that in Colorado here I really hate the Furniture Row commercials, they always have this woman in the background doing this stupid voice singing..."woah....woa-woahhhhh" and it's like, whoop de fu*king do, it's furniture.

I find a lot of car advertisements annoying. They have one on television over here for Ford cars. I can't stand seeing it! It's just plain stupid. They make ford car dealers look like God which is obviously a load of rubbish. There are a few ads I dislike on tv at the moment. There is another one where this couple are in a restaurant about to have dinner or whatever and they see a tank full of lobsters. The next scene is of the couple running out of the restaurant with the lobsters covered up in their arms. They end up setting them free. This ad was for a clothes store, I dunno how it works but anyways. The music in the ad is so horrible and I can't stand hearing it. I can't think of any others at the moment, I'll post again if I do.

I'd like to kick that lady's sensational ass. That has got to be the most obnoxious thing in the world.

"Dropkick your ordinary salad!" Yeah. The guy who wrote this crap should be dropkicked.

Tsiiri and Cobain have good points. What do half-naked (good-looking) women -- and men, too -- have to do with beer? I mean c'mon, we've all seen people that drink a lot of beer. They don't look like that. And what does skating and bubbles have to do with Diet Coke? It's pretty lame that they associate two things that have absolutely nothing to do with each other. Of course, it's all psychology -- we see one thing we like, combined with one thing we don't care about, and, supposedly, we learn to like that other thing, too.

EDIT: Remembered one more. Bladder-control stuff. I don't care if you have to pee every twenty minutes. Or the one that starts out with "The highway system, clearly designed by men", in reference to women that have to wait a whole hundred miles to do whatever at the next Rest Area. Yes, it was designed by men, because men can go an hour and a half without stopping. And considering the idea that you'll usually have a man driving on long trips, shut up and look out the window, bitch.

EDIT: Just remembered another set of commercials I hate. Travelocity. That stupid gnome thing.
