How long to complete FFT?

I've been playing this game for ages and still not bored with the gameplay... but what i want to know is; How long will it take to get to the end of the game? Is there a proper ending?

Well, there certainly is an end... it'll take as many hours as you want it to to get there, but this isn't one of those games where you can keep playing infinitely if you want - you'll hit the end of the plot eventually. And yes, there is (in my opinion) a quite "proper" ending.

Yes there is an ending to the game. There's 4 chapters to it too, and they're all solid, well I think they are. In the end the game took me about 50 hours to beat. I also had a very small team though, in the end I had only 7 or 8 people on my team. It wasn't to time consuming, but I managed.

Since the posts were deleted the other day (tut), I'd realised I'd put FFT and not FFT:Advance! It's FFTA that I've been playing... which would explain why i'd played it for 20 odd hours and not passed any chapters! cheers though

I dont know if you can for say "beat" ffta but i managed to get through 258 missions cmplete in 6 hours with just Marche,montblanc,Ezel,Ritz,and an assassin

In 6hours?! you're having a laugh! I gotta admit though, I've got 15 charaters, and i only use at max 8 of them anyway!

My my, I remember this game quite well, one of my favorites.
It took me over 200 hours on that game to complete it, because I went through most of the 'get all of your characters to max level', and such. And and and, yeah, the ending is pretty 'proper'.

It took a while considering that the battles take 5 to almost 30 minutes.

It took me 45 days to beat it,but i used 4 people at the end.

It took me 29 days to finish it.

if youre going for a full game it ll take ya 70-80hours but if you want rush through it ll take ya 60-70 hours of gameplay wise

I beat the game using only Marche and Montblanc in 19 hours and 30 minutes
