Dedicated to the Misunderstood

He spends his life in solitude
His spirit wanders alone
People don’t like his attitude
So he continues on his own

Nobody seems to care about what’s going on
In the mind that no-one seems to understand
They tend to say he does all wrong
When in reality they fail to see the problem at hand

Calling him crazy is all they can
Oblivious to the way it all began
Afraid of his soul, scared of its span
Oh, how they fear the mind of a madman

Causing havoc is all that they expect from him
Keeping misery close to him, he sees it as his friend
He prays to be accepted and for man to see his trim
He hopes for consolation, before he reaches his end

All alone in solitude, it is all that he can see
How can a man like this be a victim of such hypocrisy?
You can try to feel his pain , you can try to understand
But such is the mind, the simple mind of a madman...
