However, I won't say HIM is a "stupid/crap/etc" band... I don't like them, but I won't bash other peoples' taste... this thread just sucks because it's BOUND to have flame-baiters. And does!

I refuse to bash anyone in this thread. But it seems the music thread is a horrible place to be.

Let me explain something to you two, Sir David and Daddy. A member has the right to set groundrules of a thread PROVIDED IT STILL FALLS IN THE RULES. Flaming a band outside the flaming forum isn't tolerated, nor do flaming fans of a certain band tolerated outside the flaming forum.

And don't give me that "we're just criticzing them BS". Griffith's post did it just fine. Intellectual, with respect for the other side's beliefs. Now you two come in and say no more than just "They suck" and "You guys are idiots for liking them" That's NOT what we're about here.

Because you've completely derailed a thread AND decided to go against my authority to return on topic AS INTENDED by Gaara. I'm serving you both up with warnings.

You wanna try me, go right ahead. I'm going to delete the off topic posts.

Besides, I never said HIM sucked directly. I said they were stupid, but I was primarily saying that this was a stupid thread. Which it is.

Secondly, Griffith was flame-baiting, which is against the rules.

If you want, I could always undelete the posts so that people can SEE how great you all are at going off topic and harassing each other. Man, suck it up. He made a decision. I probably would have left the posts, issued a warning, and closed the thread. He decided to deal with it his way.

Daddy, this isn't just directed to you, but at the thread as a whole -- GET OVER IT.

Gaara 2.0 asked kindly (and in capitalized bolded letters) not to post if you had a conflicting opinion regarding the band. So what? That's HIS RIGHT as a thread starter. Don't like HIM? Make an anti-HIM thread, or better yet, take it to the music thread in the flame forum. But don't go against a thread starter's wishes simply because you all think it's a stupid idea.

If any more posts like the ones which were deleted are posted again, more warnings will be issued, but the topic will remain open. Don't get yourselves banned over this.

I don't think that's what he exactly said David. I think he is speaking of if someone doesn't want his thread ruined by people who don't like what he likes and it turns into a simple spam bashing. You could do that or do what I did, give a FAIR opinion about the band. I was not bashing the band or the people who listen to this band I simply stated my thoughts, not what I think is good or bad. Seriously, I'm getting rather sick and tired of seeing that ALL over the place too. You can either do that Loco says or ignore something you don't like.

P.S. - That wasn't exactly flamebaiting btw Daddy considering I was speaking the truth, you said some shit that will get you warned and I said if you wanna keep going you will either be banned or warned again. Now this is my final post here, I made my opinion, and even if I am not a mod I'd just like to make a future reference to all...ignore something you don't like or start your own bashing-hate-club, but keep spam and anything not related to the thread out of that forum.

Oh I won't be breaking any rules, just preventing people from posting in the thread that I don't want to.

Anyways, I hardly see how my post saying they are a failed Sentenced clone is "flaming" or bashing the band. As one can easily tell that they are ripping off of their style, and that they don't do it as well (i.e. their song writing is not as good from an objective pure musical standpoint)
