Book Suggestions?

Okay so I just finished reading "90 Minutes in Heaven" by Don Piper, which is a story told by Don Piper on his 90 minutes in heaven he experienced after having a horrible car accident and EMT's pronouncing him dead on arrival, where he spent 90 minutes in his car while paramedics from Houston arrived.... he had no pulse, and was not breathing for 90 minutes until the pastor from his church arrived and prayed for him... while the prayer was taking place Don Piper miraculously awoke and had a pulse. The story is pretty amazing, it happened in January of 1989, and family and friends finally convincec him to tell his story in 2004.

However, my real question is since I'm finished with this book, has anyone any true accounts/novels they recommend. I hate not having something to continue on to after I finish a book

Any good book recommendations will do that you have read. I just prefer true accounts.

Just finished readin George Carlin's "When Will Jesus Bring The Pork Chops" It is a book filled with lots of great skits about everything...wether it gets you thinking of makes you laugh....this book is a great place to start.

Something a little less "mainstream" would be an awesome book called "The Portable Henry Rollins" written by Henry Rollins he he he. Also filled with things similar to GC, BUT he has more of a blunt an twisted view...so proceed with caution, .

I'm not much of a reader, but...
The Five People You Meet in Heaven, by Mitch Albom, short little book, interesting. It's about, well, the five people you meet in heaven.

Try Paulo Coelho, he's got this whole positive life theory going on in his books. The Alchemist, the Zahir, Veronika Decides to Die...fictious, but I enjoyed them all.

Life of Pi by Yann Martel is good, too; about a boy who survives 200 something days on the open sea in a wee boat. I love the way that guy writes, it's different from most things I've read. Definite favorite of mine.

www.fireandwater.com has something of everything on there.

I recommend The Bourne Identity, Supremacy, Ultimatum and Legacy. Fantastic novels written by a fantastic author, Robert Ludlum. The stories he weaves are amazing and really pull you in. The Bourne Legacy was written by Eric van Lustbader using ideas set down by Ludlum, but it's still great.
