Favorite Adult Swim/Toonami Anime Vote

Heh, Cain Highwind is probably getting a kick outta this.

Anyway decide. I have to honestly strike with Full Metal Alchemist. Although the mnaga ism uch better and has a different plot, I`ve been following the anime for a year and I love every minute of it.

To think, only 3 more episodes. It seems just like yesterday I accidentally switched it to the preimer and got sucked in. The main thing that motivated me was the Square-Enix label and I was an avid FF fan at the time.

Anyway, I chose GitS, as I think I like it SLIGHTLY more than FMA. The great music, action scenes, and political drama. The one I don't like all that much is Evangelion. Call me crazy or late to the party, but I just don't see what all the fuss on the series is all about. I mean it's not TERRIBLE, just not OMG BEST ANIME EVAR! Scryed on the other hand was pretty boring and I lost interest.

Well my personal favorites are Fullmetal Alchemist and Ghost in the Shell, they are the two shows that I always enjoy watching and look forward to. Though I do enjoy Inuyasha as well, there is nothing else that I do not mind missing, but I do not miss FMA and GitS. FMA is a great show with plenty of thoughtful ideas that make it much more than just another show. And GitS has so much politics and intrigue with plots inside plots. The show just keeps you going and wanting more, keeps you asking more questions. I am enjoying this season even more than the first because it helps to show some light on the characters we never really knew as well as adding a new conspiracy/complex that makes for exciting new ideas.

Adult Swim has shown a good amount of quality Anime, surprisingly. In fact, ever since they showed Tenchi, their selection has improved dramatically I think. A big step up from Sailor Moon, Voltron, or DBZ.

Hmm...I'm very divided. Neon Genesis is my favourite anime ever, but due to the fact that I've seen it a handful of times and own the DVDs (more than one time over -_-), I don't watch it on Adult Swim as enthusiastically as I do Fullmetal Alchemist (and even Ghost in the Shell for that matter). FMA has entranced me for the past year and more and I absolutely love every minute of it. I'm actually extremely obsessed with the show to the extent where I've even gotten my non-anime-watching roommate to watch it (as an aside, I'm quite upset that there are only three episodes left v_v).

So, as far as the show I like to watch the most on Adult Swim, it's Fullmetal Alchemist, but technically my favourite show on Adult Swim should be Evangelion. Where does me vote lie? Somewhere in between? I don't know. Until I make a decision, I don't make a vote (but I still figured I'd voice my opinion).

Well, Cowboy Bebop and Trigun were both really great shows, when they were on. I don't know if Cartoon Network still shows them, however. Overall, the Bebop is probably my favorite series that Adult Swim has shown over the years. I don't know if I could watch just any episode again, however, as per I've seen a lot of them several times over. Trigun was mostly fun too, but it had some episodes that I thought were kind of lacking... and characters, too. Didn't really care much for the one chick that apparently had a thing for Vash in the end. She was annoying, and mean.

Wolf's Raine was pretty cool, too. I didn't see all of the episodes, though; I kind of came in towards the end, and when it was on weekdays; I can't generally watch the shows that are only on Saturday Nights, as per I usually babysit Sunday mornings. Kinda sucks.

Of the shows that are on now, I either like Full Metal Alchemist or Ghost in the Shell the best. FMA took a little time to grow on me, though, because when I first watched it, I found a lot of the episodes to be kind of boring and overly dramatic. The episodes with the officers also draw me more than the episodes with just Ed and Al. Like the one that was about those three soldiers... that was a pretty cool episode. Heh. I've yet to see any of the second season of GitS, either (Sunday Morning babysitting, again. AND partying and drinking when I don't babysit... heh....) Neon Genesis Evangelion is pretty cool too, but kinda boring, and I don't always relate to any of the characters in it very well. The female characters mostly seem uptight and/or mean, and the main character guy seems angsty and annoying; his father also seems like an asshole. I like the girl who's their teacher or whatever, though, even though I think she's also uptight. That guy she kind of has a relationship with also seems cool.

s-CRY-ed also is a bit boring and uninteresting, but the really fast guy is awesome. I think I might use an avatar of him soon... the one rebel's friend,

Spoiler: that dies halfway through-I was sad when he died-is also pretty cool. I probably like him more than the fast guy. I kind of lost interest in the show after he died.

Lupin III is bad ass, for the most part. Although if I've already seen an episode, I tend to not have enough interest to watch it again (I actually do that with a lot of shows...) Never really got into Inuyasha, although I liked it more than Witch Hunter Robin, or FLCL (which was perhaps too out there for my tastes? either that, or I just didn't buy the humor that much, and found many of the characters annoying, kind of like Evangelion, except moreso, and those two shows are very different, indeed...) With Samurai Shamploo... I just can't get past the fuckin' hip hop. Just don't like it. I also don't like the main character, either. He's like Spike, except more obnoxious and aggressive, or more of an asshole. Can't decide which. Maybe both.

So... there's my long tyrade about Adult Swim. And this was supposed to be about your favorite anime on the channel... Oh well. Your fault if you read it all.

I think my favourite would probably have to be Neon Genesis Evangelion. I really enjoyed watching that anime. I didn't get to watch all the episodes but the ones I watched were awesome. My favourite character was probably Misato lol. She is such a humorous character, her and Pen-Pen. Shinji was an interesting character, he was so mysterious and quiet. Rei was also another fascinating character. She kept to herself mainly and we didn't find out much about her until a bit later on. I really didn't like Asuka, her character just really annoyed me. She was ignorant and she seemed to love herself a lot lol. The storylines involved on the show were enjoyable to watch, I hope they show it again soon because I miss watching it.

Ghost in the Shell seems like a pretty cool show too. I saw a couple of episodes on one of the channels. I thought the characters seemed pretty cool, I don't really know much about it. I might start watching it a bit more in the future.

The ression why i like scryed is of there alter power and the characters. One episodes that i didn't like that much was the one though was really gay which it was called Super Pinch the dude that is with holy his alter power IT'S A ****EN BIG ASS TOY. One of my favorite character on scryed is kimishima even though he has no alter power he is still cool.My other favorite character is Kazuma becuse of his rightarm alter power which it goes to three stages.

Lupin III was by far the best, though I hardly get to watch it anymore. But, right now I'm really diggin' Naruto. I never thought I would get into it, but now here I am, waiting every saturday, glued to the couch like white on rice on a paper plate in a snow storm. Also, one thing, Bo-bo-bo bobobo is the stupidest show ever. It makes me want to cry in my pants.

I loved the confussion of Big O...Kept missing the last episode...or the "so-called" last episode (the one they aired before it got yanked). It was the only cartoon on that made you go "huh?", and the funniest part ever was at the end....it left you even more confused to begin with, lol! Most awesome way to go out ever! I still petition to bring it back for another season! Just because it was not big in Japan does not mean they can't finish the story over here! So my answere....BIGO

s-CRY-ed would be a lot better if that brat that got her nose in too much trouble known as Kanami didn't exsist. If I was Kazuma, I'd spank her for 48 hours for her blunder with Muto's bunch. Better still, she should've been killed off, and in that way, Kazuma would fight for her and avenge her death. Cheerful thought.
