I think it looks sharp.

My only critique is that the gray background should be a little darker to really offset the pretty blue borders. But that's just me.

Either way, it looks excellent in my eye.

I like the little water/fire thing going on there.
I was hopin there'd be something I could criticize,
but it looks great in its own style.

Very interesting, I like the effect of the fire/eyes, very nice. Ill agree make the background a little bit more darker, and honestly make it a little bit bigger, im not old I can see just fine, but its easier to see detail work in a bigger picture without having to make the picture bigger and ruin the pixels and shit. But overall, very good.

heheh! i used the clouds effect for the background.. (with a few other things..) so the colour wasnt exactly in my control, but i'll see what i can do!

oo.. also.. just a sidenote to anyone else that makes banners.. try and make them out of the ordinary! mess around with different shapes etc. dont just make them a box with a boarder!

you have the background layer to start with... ignore it for now..
then make another layer.. get the box selector, make your box, fill it, then delete bits.. then make your banner.. then once your done.. delete the background layer, and save it as a png..

thats not a very good explanation. but i hope its good enough, if not.. i'll go into more detail! there are other ways as well.. (i dont really use that way..) but its an easy way to do it!

One thing yuou should know about the .png extensions. They usual come with a matte unless you disable it, which help in some cases, but doesn't help in others. When I've woken up, I'll create some things to show you how matte realy works, for now, just looks at Sir Airnemorko's past thread with the bass guitar sig. That one example of a .png with the wrong matte.

Heh, well there isn't a realy a tutorial for the kind of thing i make, its mostly trial and error. But if there are things you or anyone else doesn't undertsnad, like how to do something, feel free to ask me on here/aim/msn/email what ever, and I'll gladly help.

haha! i'll make one some time this week! ;p hopefully!

I would love to learn how to do that kinda of art work, but the only thing im decent at is pen and paper, basically scratch board and stuff of the like. I would love to learn, but i also dont have the time. But when I do ill ask one of you two if you dont mind thats is.
