Good game or crappy game?

the game was alright to play through once and maybe one more through or if you wanted to get 100% but i would not even bother with that. they only thing i liked about the game were the dressphers and that is about it.

Yeah I agree.

I only bought this game jsut to see what happened to everyone. And I wanted to see if Tidus was goanna come back.

But yeah the only good thing about FFX2 was the visuals. The CG parts were frikin awesome. The music was good.

But I hated the fighting, the dress spheres, and I wish there were more characters that could fight with you. Not just Yuna, Paine, and Rikku.

This game was horrid. Thats all there is to it. Final Fantasy fanatics and FFX fanboys/girls are the wrong people to be asking if you want a truly good result of whether or not its good. You would have to ask people that had never played Final Fantasy before, but liked RPGs (after getting them to play it of course.)

For a video game though. Taking away the fact that its a Final Fantasy... and just thinking about how its story line went... battle system went... and the length of the game. Not to mention its graphics and voice acting.
Its story line...sucked. It was very lame... something that...they should have left to be done in a Manga or something. Not something worth making a while new video game for. Its Battle System... actually wasnt so bad. Slightly similar ones have been done before in the past. However getting rid of summons and adding those stupid monster things they transformed into...was lame. Length of the game sucked...for ANY RPG. Graphics and voice acting however, were an improvment. So if it wasnt a Final Fantasy... it would have been an ok game, worth renting.

But here is the problem. It IS a Final Fantasy game. And Final Fantasy games are awesome... MOSTLY because of there story lines. Thats what truly makes them famous. Not there battle Systems, or there voice acting (obviously not that one. Its still new to FF games). Sure, graphics have been amazing for FF games ever since FF7 came into play (when it comes to Cinimatics anyways.) So for a Final Fantasy game.... FFX-2 is a huge let down. It sucks. Plain as that.

I actually liked it, not as good as ffx {obviously}, but I really wasn't expecting it to be. The dressphere system was very good in my opinion. It kinda lacked in the main storyline now and then though >.<

I hated it and I've hardly ever touched it.

I hated Final Fantasy X enough, and this game is just a crappy spin-off of that game. I really don't like what Final Fantasy is becoming. IX will probably be the last of the Final Fantasy series that I enjoy.

(I like VI, VIII and IX).

Hated the storyline, ok battle system. What else can I say, the job system was terrible and most of the missions were enjoyable. I did not however like the the new personality of Yuna and I also didnt really like Paine too much. The end of the game was really good (100% ending). It didnt really feel like a Final Fantasy so.

A crappy game- yes

Crappy in comparison to most FF games- yes

This game is a fun game dont get me wrong, but it just doesnt do it for me as a Final Fantasy title.

I played it twice, averaging about twenty-five hours a time.

I can think of much worse Final Fantasies...

(everbody's all like: "What final fantasies, Omni?" and I'm like: "Final Fantasy Mystic Quest, Final Fantasy Crystal Cronicles or whatever")

I think I might have posted in here before, but anyway...

Good game.

The good

-Decent storyline
-Good music
-New (and good) battle system
-The job system (New jobs are dumb? Please.)
-Actually had very difficult bits (Paragon, Trema and Angra Mainyu anyone?)
-Multiple endings


The not so good

-The cheesey bits
-Story and music not as strong as they could be


That's all I can think of right now, but I'm sure there's a few more good and bad things about the game.
