For those of you that have cell phones and use txting, which do you prefer? T9 txting or the normal txting? I am currently trying to learn T9 because my friends say its worth learning. This site helped a lot. http://www.textfast.t9.com/index1.htm

3,017  | OMG I hate that. That drives me friggin crazy. Sometimes if I reply to a text it will auto put the message in that format and I have to go back in and change it to ABC mode. While ABC mode does take some time, I hate how the phone doesn't know the word you are typing, and perhaps it can learn, but A) I'm not going through the hassle of teaching my phone and B) When I finally teach it, I'm going to have to use the rarest word and it won't work, to which I'll end up on ABC anyway. It's annoying and it wastes time, to me it seems faster to type in all the letters one by one.

1,293  | I use T9 all the time. Most of my texts are pretty short and to the point so it works out just fine. And that's all I really have to say about it. Sorry 2 make it short.

10,591  | Texting isn't part of my plan, so when I do send texts, I use as much space as possible to convey my message -- I want to get my dime's worth, damnit! Anyway, in that regard, T9 annoys me to no end. I type really quickly just using the regular ABC letters. I don't mind it... it hardly slows me down at all, to be honest. Only double letters or letters on the same key really give me any issue, since I have to wait for the cursor. Of course, if I'm sending a text, it's usually because I have the time to do so. If it's really important, I call... texts are so impersonal.
