858  | I think there is a wave of this stuff happening to a lot of forums.  An anime forum that I am in has been down for two days now. I have no clue what is going on, but the front page has two lines of plain font: "Hardware Problem. We'll be back shortly" If that IS a hacker problem, I guess they haven't been able to fix it yet since they don't have a genious like fuzz...

Man, I can't believe the odds because I never talk about hacking incidents because it just never happens anymore, I guess I was wrong. Relm - I bet there is a wave of Pharming hacks going on right now. The authority I talked to from Cyota said at least a 100 happen a day, so that anime site could have a very similiar problem. | ||||||||

Why would a hacker want to hack into TFF? Some people have waaay to much time on their hands. Well, at least the problem has been investigated and sorted. Fuzz and Loco, well done!

1,523 | I can not believe my luck... honestly... now TWICE in less than 5 days! Sorry for the LONG site downtime this time guys, I can assure you it will never be that long again... Technical Support were really lagging and there wasn't much I could do. Thanks for being patient. TFF is going through some real rough times right now with server issues and I hope to resolve them all by either moving to a brand new host or resolve the current issues here... it is hard to that when the site continues to get hacked by spam-bots or whoever is doing this. AGAIN sorry. I will keep everyone posted on any news as far as what exactly happened to the site. | ||||||||

1,403 | It's ok Fuzz, we still <3 you. As long as you can bring it back I think we can always forgive you. But we really need to step up security around here because it seems the same guy hacked it again. I suggest going through all your files for the server and see if anything was installed and shit just incase this hacker or whatever won't be able to get in again. Some people are just immature faggits though, need to find something better to do than "professionally" hack a site that isn't even worth hacking basically.

1,523 | I guess I forgot to mention that the main site is closed while I remove every file on the server and scan for any uploaded viruses/spambots/applications. This may take some time but it is necessary. I believe the culprit is also taking up the Server CPU usage, so I'm hoping I can find something. I will be sure to post any updates. haha, you're right... it probably was some dumb 40 year old in his parent's basement. But none-the-less, whoever did it really screwed things up. | ||||||||
