693 | When you first enter you have to fight Bahamut, he asks you several questions and you must give the proper answers to procede. After every question you're going to fight a battle, but if you answer the questions incorrectly you'll have to fight another fight and then answer the question correctly. You cannot heal between fights so be prepared with lots of healing potions. Try casting aura on squall at the begining of each fight and renzokuken him. Also, make sure you don't have fire spells junctioned to elemental attack, otherwise you'll heal when you attack him.

| Blue of Blue | And if memory serces correct I think you have to fight Ruby Dragons, which aren't so easy. The best thing to do is junction silence to your weapon so they can't do massive damage, I did it and it helped alot, I was destroyed the first time, but luckily I learned from them. | ||||||||

Possibly, get some better magic spells to junction on your characters to increase their stats. If you don't know where to go, there are two islands called "Heaven" and "Hell" accordingly. Also, Bahaumut, despite being the king of dragons is incredibly easy. Once you have him you gain access to some really great skills so don't just give up.

693 | Yes you have to fight 2 ruby dragons prior to Bahamut with no time to heal or equip in between so be prepared. If not like Samurai kenji said visit the two islands and run around finding the hidden draw spots. Best to use enc-none while doing so otherwise you'll start a lot of fights. Junction Full-life to HP, Haste to speed, and Ultima to strength on squall and you should be able to know the first two dragons in a few turns. Like any major battle have one player specificaly for healing. If you go in and just try to dish out damage and every chance and heal when near dead you'll run into problems.

| | I remember I had a fair bit of trouble in the Research Centre. I tried about three or more times until I defeated the Dragons. They were quite difficult in my opinion. I think the first dragon kill my characters in less that a minute lol. I can't remember what level they were on, I think it was over level 50 anyway. I didn't think Bahamut was too bad because I got him on the first go...surprisingly. I think I just used Lionheart and I was okay. ![]() | ||||||||

1,077 | If you want the easy way out though, put Quistes in your party and teach her Blackhole. I'm not 100% if this will work on the Ruby Dragons because they may be classed as bosses, but it DOES work on all none boss monsters, including the monsters on the Islands closest to Heaven/Hell. This is a great way to build up experience because blackhole INSTANTLY kills monsters, no matter how high their HP are. Another strategy to consider is the GF Tonberry's lv Up and lv Down skills. The Ruby Dragons you fight before Bahumet are all level 100, which means they can use Meteor, Flare, and other strong attacks. As such, if you use Tonberry's Lv Down tech on them you'll greatly reduce their power, defense, and HP. Note that neither of those strategies will help you with Bahumet as he is immune to both. But as was said, Bahumet himself isn't really that hard...9/10 your characters will survive the Flare attack he uses provided you keep them relatively healthy.

| | Anomaly is actually referring to Degenerator. That instantly kills enemies and it works nearly all of the time. It's learned from an item called Black Hole. As far as the Red Dragon's, I have no advice. I can't remember what I used, I just know I beat them as I got past them and onto Bahamut and Ultima Weapon.

| | Yeah, Tonberry King was a really good guardian force because of his shop options. Doesn't he give you a discount too or something? I can't really remember now. He has all the things you need. I found it annoying when I had to keep going back to the closest town and buy things because it wasted time. Tonberry is good because you don't have to go anywhere to buy the items you need for battle. ![]() | ||||||||

n/a | Actually, Tonberry King does have discount abilities and another ability that sells your items for higher prices than normal. As for fighting the Ruby Dragons, try to raise your party member's speed as much as possible. It helped me getting turns faster. It'd also be wise not to level up too much because I think the Ruby Dragons start using the Breath attack after either level 30 or 50. The answers for the questions pretty much go in order, the 1st question, pick the 1st answer. The second question, pick the 2nd answer and for the 3 question, pick the answer below the 2nd option which is a blank answer. I think and hope those were the answers for the questions before fighting Bahamut. Also while fighting Bahamut, try casting Blind on him so that his attacks won't hit very often, he hits quite hard. Hope I was of some help. | ||||||||

| | Yeah were all onto something here. The GF Tonberry King has abilities to get in touch with all the shops. I think it's called Call Chop, or there are two abilities one for the item shop and the other for the Junk Shop. He has like two abilities relative to money or buying/selling. I know one of them is called Haggle and I can't remember the other, I thought it was Sell High or something like that. Let's you buy things cheaper and sell things for more money.
