genji, weapons, spells, other

I'm almost at the end of the game. I'm just wondering, where can I get the all-ultima spell? Is it too late to get the genji equipement(I'm at the deep dungeon part)? Where do I get the zodiac spell? Is mimic that good?

You don't. If you wanna see it, go fight Altima and give her a nice target - i.e. a few of your characters grouped close together.

Yes. The only way to get it is to steal it off Elmdor, so if you didn't get it that time, you missed your chance.

Bottom of the deep dungeon. Have a summoner get hit by it and survive.

In my opinion? Not really, but it's hella fun. Or rather, Mimic absolutely rocks, but Mimes have a bit of trouble staying alive due to their lack of armor, and it also takes a lot of coordination to use Mimic properly. I've seen it be absolutely brutal... and it allows you to do some crazy attacks from halfway across the map.

The guy from gamefaqs says you can. But I'm really not sure. He says that there are three different ultima spells from which you can learn. One is called ultima, the other ultima 2(Alma can only learn it) and All-ultima.

Well, the guy on gamefaqs is wrong. Or else the BMG is, but I'm more likely to trust the BMG. Here are the relevant exerpts.

The first of these abilities is the learnable Ultima; it's the one that Celia and Lede use on you and Ramza and Alma can learn. The second ability is the Ultima that Altima uses against you, and the third one (All-ultima) is the souped up version that Altima's second form uses. Note that the first Ultima is the only one that has the "learnable by getting hit with it" property. So sorry, but there's no way to learn All-ultima.

You must be talking about FFT, because on FFTA everyone can learn an ultima move, as long as you have the weapon.

Yeah this is fft. Not the one for gameboy advance. BTW the abilities in ffta are way better, I agree.

Anyway, I hate the mime. I just got him and it sucks being the one with no weapons and abilities.

Is there anyway to find a uribo, so I can get a breed of it for the ribbon. I mean it makes an offspring that's called something that helps you get the ribbon.

I think you have to Poach an enemy unit to do so; you can't poach your own characters, if I remember correctly.

Actually, you can poach your own characters. It's just that you lose them permanently when you do.

If you need a Uribo, head for the bottom floor of the deep dungeon and fight a few random battles there. Never done it myself, but I hear there are Uribos down there.

And Mimes do get weapons and abilities - they just copy the ones used by the rest of your party. When one of your characters uses an action with a particular weapon, the Mime copies the same ability with the same weapon. Essentially, you mime gets 4 turns to every one the rest of your party takes.

They do, but that requires you to defeat Elidibs. After that, they become part of the random groups. Get a Mediator, invite a Uribo, and then leave another slot open in your unit screen. Poach whomever you need, but remember, keep one alive so it can breed.

As for the Masamune, you need to yoink it out of Elmdor, so I guess you're late for that one too. I recall hearing someone got the way to predict the weapons a Ninja can throw you depending on levels, so might wanna check it out to see if you can Catch a copy. Or use the infamous copy cheat, so you can leave a Masamune and use other for Draw Out.

what's the infamous copy cheat? If it's gameshark then I really don't want to know. And where can you find ninjas that can throw masamunes?

The copy cheat is a glitch in the game that lets you clone weapons... it's cheap and I don't endorse it, but there's probably a faq for it somewhere on gamefaqs if you really must know.

Regarding your second question, any enemy ninja anywhere has the potential to throw a Masamune... that is, assuming he's high enough level. What is thrown by an enemy ninja is dependent on:
1) What abilities he knows. If he doesn't know ThrowKatana, he'll obviously never throw one. This is beyond your control, so don't worry about it.
2) What type of weapon (from among those that he knows how to throw) he decides to toss. For example, if he knows ThrowAxe, ThrowShuriken, and ThrowKatana, it's up to chance to see which he'll actually hurl at you. Again, there's no way to control this; you'll just have to get lucky.
3) What level he is. This is the part where you need to be precise. When a ninja decides to chuck a katana at you, the type of katana he throws is dependent on his level. For level <= 94, he'll throw Kikuichimoji (or, at lower levels, one of the other random katana that you can buy in stores). For level >= 96, he'll throw Chirijiraden. If you want a Masamune, you have to find a ninja that is exactly level 95 and cross your fingers and hope he throws a katana at you. And then you need to hope that he throws it at somebody who can catch it. And then you need to hope that your character actually does catch it (even 97 brave will fail 3% of the time).

If you really want a Masamune, it's probably easier to restart your game and filch it from everybody's favorite Arc Knight.

You don't. The Nosada is only in FFT:A. The ultimate ninja weapons in FFT are the Iga Edge and the Koga Edge (or something like that).

As far as finding it in FFT:A, just level up your clan and you'll get it as a prize eventually.
