Earthbound 2 / Mother 3

i was commenting on a RPG game list, when i noticed i had remembered i heard a rumor that Mother 3 would be released early 2006, but i hadn't researched it since then. well i turns out it's farely soon! April 20th, in Japan... im posting this before reading the whole site cus i got too excited, lol, but i dont know about a US release of Earthbound 2.... but i wanted everyone who enjoyed Earthbound to check out this site, and see the screenshots and see how TRUE to the original they are keeping it. i love it. the music sounds good too.

seems like no word yet of a N. America release. if anyone has info please post. i want it to come to the US so bad

just FYI this is going to be a Game Boy Advanced game - hence the old school graphics. should be pretty badass though, the original is beyond cult classic status at this point.

Awesome. Earthbound was a great game, I though -- a little juvenile, but still excellent. I'd love to play it again, and if I knew what I was doing with a rom or if I could find it on something I could play with a PS2 (as my ex-girlfriend has my/our SNES), I would play it again now.

I loved Earthbound, I thought it was great. It had a pretty goofy story, and the battel system was very unique, but that's what I personally liked about it. It really does look just like the one and only. Those screen shots are awesome, and I hope the game rules.

yeah... thats what made Earthbound so cool i think. the story was unique, and the real-life type buy/sell system was cool. like hamburger shops, drug stores, atm machines. it was a neat spin.

the graphics too is what makes that game. im so glad the kept it old school. im definatly going to buy a GBA if Earthbound 2 hits the US, but even Nintendo of America has commented they don't know if there will be a US release. but im pretty sure someone will make a hack eventually.

Earthbound was a great game!
It was very different... I don't exactly
know what I loved about it, but the feel
keeps me loving it! LOL so much randomness
it's funny. The rumors of releasing sequels to
earthbound to the US have been driving me
crazy tho. I can't wait for it to finally come out..

yeah, rumors thus far are just that. although there is no word from developers that Earthbound 2 *WONT* come to the US, there's no news that it will. so sign the petetion and let's hope it works ;x
