Sasquatch, I am now going to explain to them what we believe.

God will rapature the church and bring all Christian believers to Heaven and leave everyone else on Earth.

I believe that through all this political controversies, a man is going to rise to power and he is going to be a European citizen. Muslims are going to think he is the descendant of Muhammad and the Jews will believe he is the true Messiah and Jesus wasn`t.

This will all happen after the Christians are gone in Heaven.

This guy is the Anti-Christ and he is going to establish a one-world government.

In the next 7 years, the world weill struggle horribly.
You will need the Mark of the Beast in order to pruchase items.
You know what the Mark of the Beast is?
It already exists.

They are microschips that basically have all your information stored in them and are installed into your wrists or forehead.
If you accept these chips, you are accpeting the fact you are a believer of Satan and you will go to Hell unless you are saved and desperate. That would be a sin, but every sin is casts into the Sea of Forgetfulness if you ask God for forgiveness.

After all this, all those who are not Christians will die and God will restore the Earth and we as Christians will live with him forever.

The End of the World will not take place. Man`s reign in the world will have an end.

Do you wanna know the warning signs of how this is going to happen? The bible says there will be earthquakes, other forms of frequent bad weather and a horrible disease that will wipe out millions.

It says this is the Bible, written 2000 years ago.

On the subject...well, it's likely we'll destroy ourselves. We already have enough power to do it, it's only a matter of time...
Predictions are interesting.

There's this one religion who believes in a sort of Messiah...they think their fallen goddess who lives right here on earth will be resurrected by a woman born in "a time of fire", and she'll either destroy everything or recreate the whole world.
I found it interesting because it didn't involve those strict lines of good and bad. I don't buy that whole heaven and hell thing.

I'm confused as to why God gave free will to man, so they could choose to believe in him or no, and then punishes those who don't believe in him, therefore kicking them in the butt if you chose to shun him. Great free will, there.
That's just how I interpreted it, though. I'm not trying to step on toes here.
I picked up a bible so I can figure out what the hell everyone is talking about all the time...

Oh BTW, another reason I think the Christian`s theory will happen soon is because the bible says Isreal`s temple being rebuilt is another sign of the end times.

In order for their temple to have a successful ceremony they need a Red Hefor (sp?), a hefor with completely red hair all over it`s body.

Probum is there haven`t been any for over 2000 years....

Except they just found one and are preparing it to be sacrificed.

Yes and no. We don't know what the Mark of the Beast will be, and though there's a lot of speculation that it may be the implanted microchip, we won't know for certain until, well, the Rapture itself. And though the Antichrist will gain power before the Rapture, the Mark of the Beast won't come into effect until after.

Actually, you misunderstand. Hell isn't God's "punishment" at all. There are two places to go for the afterlife -- Heaven and Hell. (No "Limbo", no "Purgatory", only Heaven and Hell.) In Heaven, one can be with God. But an imperfect being cannot be with God. Which would exclude all of us -- unless we're forgiven. When we're forgiven, all of our sins (every one, past and future) are wiped clean. One sin is enough to lose our perfection, which means Hell is the only option. Heaven isn't the alternative to Hell, Hell is the alternative to Heaven. But God made us with free will, because there'd be no point in creating a race of robots. It's like when your mother tells you not to touch the hot stove, and you do anyway -- she doesn't control you, but you went against what she told you and paid the price.

I for one believe that we should be wiped from existence. This isn't from a hippie point of view, either. But just take a look at what we (humans) have done to the Earth over time. The majority of us don't deserve to live on Earth.

I'm sure someone will say how much good we have done for the Earth, but we've done far more damage than good. We've been getting away with destroying the planet for ages and I think we'd be getting what we deserved by everything being wiped out. I believe in eye for an eye. It's bound to happen eventually, but I think the question should be, will we be around to see it?

I doubt it, but when it happens, there's nothing anyone can do to stop it. It won't be an act of God, either. It will be an act of nature. Everything that we've created will be destroyed and then some. All of our technology and inventions will have been for nothing. I guess all we can really do is wait around and do what we do until that happens.

I do. The Bible.

I believe the same thing Andromeda does, from a scientific point of view, rather than a religious one; this of course being the first of her theories. The sun will be the downfall of Earth, but, as she said, it will most likely be the rise of other planets to inhabitable status, which to me means that there will be life after death as far as intelligence goes. It may just mirror the history of earth, and who knows? Maybe in 3-6 trillion years there will be Saturnians or Neptunians (or Ionians, if maybe Jupiter becomes a star {Io being one of the moons}) who have their own Internet and are lovers of a game called Final Fantasy that parallels our own versions of those games, and they'll be discussing this same thing.

I've read that in Revelations the false messiah will come to earth to reign for seven years when Israel is at peace. I don't believe that would mean much, as Israel holds little power these days. Back in ye olde bible days, yes, it were teh shiznit. Now, it's a country of backwater Palestinian swatters that're trying to overcome Palestine's backwater Israeli swatters.

I'm not too keen on the biblical predictions, since many have come out wrong. Think about the book of quote "should-nots": Leviticus. Look at the book of Job, and of course Genesis.

As for the argument on Heaven and Hell, Lucifer the Morning Star fell from Heaven because of Pride; it was he who in pride attempted to create a parody of Heaven, as a way to try to shake his fist in God's face and say "Yeah, well, I don't WANNA be in Heaven, BITCH."

When he descended, he became Satan, and he, with the fallen archangels, set out to create Sin in God's creations. This was part of His plan, because, with God being all-knowing, he knew Lucifer would fall and that sin would prevail.

When sin got too great, he flooded the world to start over. He promised he would never do that again. I believe he promised he would not destroy the human race because he knew that power lasted within us more than fear of him did.

I guess His plan is that no matter what, he'll keep makin' us if we keep screwin' up.

First off, there is no Palestine. The only Palestine there is, is Jordan. Palestinians want their own country? They have it. They don't want their own country, they want Israel, and they want Israelis slaughtered.

I think he`s reading the Catholic Bible which is COMPLETLY different.

I wish we can just look at this from a view that everyones happy with...so much arguing!

But I like the "Eye for an Eye" prediction, about Nature destroying us, instead.

ALso antoehr EOTW Prediction, the sun will grow into a large Supernova after all the nuclear fusioning, and then evolev into a black hole sukcing us up.

But I don't see how we can prove any of this, and like I said before I am not going to listen to your "evidence" from the Bible, since there are things I dont' agree with in there...

How do you know what you don't agree with, if you've never heard the evidence? Did you not say in another thread, thirteen minutes before that post, "you gotta open your mind to the other side"? I'm not asking you to convert right this minute, but you can't go around expecting others to listen to everything, but refuse to do so yourself.

I agree, some of the things in the bible may even be false predictions. Don't forget God nor jesus write the bible themselves so what evidence can anyone here prove that the world is going to end? I for one don't believe such nonsense of worlds' ending, and no i am not in denial either. God's a Lover, not a Destroyer, that's the thing I learned from the bible, they got that part right. Unless God or jesus says the world is ending I don't believe one word of what you guys are saying.

I really like how you talk about God and Jesus, but discount the entire Bible. Please tell me, what in the Bible has been a false prediction? And no, though God didn't write the Bible in his own hand, it's inspired by God -- basically, God told Moses, John, Paul, Peter, and all the rest of 'em what to write, and they wrote it. Discarding it because it wasn't written by the physical hand of God is like throwing away your tax return because it wasn't personally signed by the President.
