After reading this thread I dl'd firefox and so far I like it. The only beef I have is the scroll rate I get using my mouses scroll wheel. Any way to make this more sensitive?

Deal? I adjusted after awhile, but as far as I know there's nothing you can actually do to speed it up.

OH PLEASE DO MY HERO!

I use Firefox and occasionally, when I am feeling stupid and dull, Internet Explorer. The authorities have told me that I can get arrested if I use anything other than these two. Is that a law?

I don't see how it is easier to type... one, two, three.. seven... I'm not really counting. Let's say ten letters, than it is to click a button and you are there. Seriously. Sure, it might take the same amount of time for most people, but really, I feel lazy most of the time and don't feel like typing all that much.

I use Firefox.

I hear Internet Explorer 7 when released is finally going to catch up with the rest of us here in the 21st century...

Sorry Billy, but it's too little too late.

Firefox is a web browser powered by Mozilla. It's way better than IE...for the most part. I have them both because some of the sites I frequent, like MSN Games (I'm having a affair with online Euchre ) don't support anything but IE. It makes me want to rip my hair out! Then, I have dial-up. We have this internet accelerater (sorry, butchered that) put out by our ISP. Surprise surprise, it's only IE compatible.

The world needs to open its eyes and see that Firefox is superior, so everything should bow down to it!

Seamonkey =D But mam uses Firefox. I like FF, but I prefer Seamonkey. Opera's on the comp too, dl'ed it a few weeks ago. I like it, but I'm too comfortable with SM to change.

I always find IE too goddamn slow, even on new comps where nothing else is slow. My comp has no problems running The Sims 2 and iTunes running in the background, which both eat up mem, and yet IE is so slow.

I use both, depending on what it is I'm doing.

One thing though- a lot of people like Firefox because of the tabbed browsing. I hate it I'd rather just have lots of windows. But that's just me...

Well, I have been using Firefox, even still do. But this site right here:
http://mywebpages.comcast.net/Suppor...efoxMyths.html

Has me filled with some doubts. (Please do, click on it. It's very educational.)

Apparently Opera is the best browser lately (which I've tried, and it loads VERY quickly.), but it has no extensions/addons like Firefox does. It has an adblocker type thing, but it's a seperate application. It's very troublesome to use. Can't even block URLs from flash ads. =\

But yeah.. I'd use Opera, if it had the addons that Firefox does. Opera has some widgets, but there's only a weather one that I find useful. I got rid of Opera until someone makes more widgets/addons. xD

I use firefox, although it keeps resetting itself an deleting my bookmarks. It is better than IE because it is faster an is not full of fooking holes! I also like the browser an stuff, I got mine to do a cat theme!

I use Firefox because the tabbed browsing is much better for me than having a bunch of windows open. I also find that it blocks a lot more pop-ups than IE, and seems to run faster to.

Except, I use IE sometimes for sites that are only IE compatible.
