I had a gmail account for awhile from a friend at work who sent me an invite, but even after I made it... I stilled used my yahoo. lol.. im weird :/

Firefox. I have had 0 problems since I got it some years ago. Compared to the pos that is IE, with constant bugs and security issues, I think i've found my browser. I still tend to use IE very very rarely for some sites that seem to be incompatible with Firefox.

Guh... Once I have this computer to myself, I'll be installing Firefox. IE makes me SICK.

i have gmail as well, its easier than my college email and hotmail, so, ill stick with gmail and firefox

FireFox most of the time, but sometimes I need to use IE. IE has a spell checker which I find useful at times. But if I can I stick to FF, IE seems to go real slow, especially lately. I am on FF now cause of that, but I cant make it my default for various reasons.

I just downloaded Opera before. I think it's just as good as Firefox. I haven't used it too much but so far so good. It has the tabbing system, loads quickly and it's simple to use. I think it loads a little quicker than Firefox, maybe I'll keep this one as my new default! Internet is just problem after problems. It's either freezing or performing illegal operations.

I use hotmail and don't have any problems with it. It's a reliable email system in my opinion. I don't get much junk mail so it's good. I'll try gmail sometime if people say it's a lot better.

I let a friend touch my laptop for FIVE MINUTES... and he decided to use Internet Explorer. My computer was completely clean -- no viruses, spyware, malware, etc. Five minutes of IE use by another person, and I now find myself with a trojan, two spywares, and a worm.

From now on, no one is allowed to EVER touch my computers but me.

gmail, it is very good. I have a yahoo account
and got gmail just for storage space, but I
slowly trasitioned my gmail account into being
my main one, because it is just a lot neater.

Edit: LoL, loco, that's scary... i originally didn't know
you could get so much protection simply by changing
browsers.

Plus, with Firefox, you can use AdBlock to destroy all instances of these iFrames which include the pesky advertisements we have unfortunately had to include on the forums as of late. I can't see any of the ads at the top or in the threads or bottom of the forums. All I see are blank shells, often minimized so that they take up even less space than the "Currently Active Users" bar beneath each thread.
