Here is what I can tell you:

1.You should always include Zell in your party(unless he is unplayable temporarily).

Use the compination----- 1st <- , <-, o
2nd o , x
3rd ^ , v
then repeat don't use those burning rave and all those finishers trust me this combo will do a lot of damage plus you just keep on repeating until the time runs out unlike if you use a finisher you can't enter a move anymore.

And one more important thing if you got a start of 12 seconds time it starts with the second one but the pattern is still the same. You'll know if it's 12 secs. if your HP is so low and if your party is almost dead meaning only Zell is left.

2. You can find the guardian forces in the ff places

Quazecotl and Shiva-Squalls' computer

Ifrit-You know already right

Siren- Draw from Elnoyle(the part after you fight Biggs and Wedge)

Diablos-The lamp given by Cid before the first seeD mission.(Make sure you saved your )

battle strat.- Draw and cast Demi on him and limit break of Zell use the combination move above(I did it in one blow after he used Gravija on me and the others were dead)

Don't heal you will only waste your items and it's up to you to take the risk if you want Squall and others alive then do it just don't blame me if you get killed.

3. The junction system is really easy try experimenting with your magic and make sure it's 100 in value.

4. Try getting the t-rexaur cards it's the strongest one you could get if you are still a beginner. And try to place the ones with high numbers where they can't get turned.
