Which game would you most like to see re-made for ps2?

I would mostly like to see Parasite Eve 2 re made for it. Its such a great game!

Do you mean, "Remade for PS3?" Why would they do that? That is the whole reason for being completely backwards compatible. I'd rather a new game in a series come out for the PS3 than play the same game again but with better graphics. That would be like playing the original mario but with super smooth graphics.

The only game I can think of that would be good remade is FFVII and that is only because I want to play the complete game. They had to cut so much content from the last disc. I could care less about better graphics.

You never know, they DO add quite a lot more to the game. I played a re made game (Medieval for the Psp) and it was based on the original but with a lot more in it. Anyway, what I am trying to say is they tend to add a little more to re made games

Okay sorry if this seems like I am flaming, but God Damn you graphics whores! Don't you see that better graphics are killing video games? Games are no longer about gameplay but about who has the best graphics. I think if a game was great but had shitty graphics, I'd still play it again. In fact I do that often. However, I have seen to many games that have awesome graphics, audio, and voiceovers, but the gameplay sucks and I just become so discusted that I don't even finish the came. I just put down my controller and put the game on a shelf somewhere never to be played again. Yes there are some very awesome games coming out that have great graphics. I'm just saying that graphics don't make a game better, unless it is a game based around graphics, like Comdemed, where the resolution of the screen acutally enhances the gameplay. [/psycho rant]

I agree with you. I don't really care about graphics in a game anyways. I jus like the game play. If it has good game play and bad graphics, then so what. If has bad gameplay, and good graphics, then the game can go back to the store, and I will get a diffrent one.

And, no i dont want to see any game remade to the ps3! oh and whoever said that they should redo ffVI and ffIV... WHY? jeez, ok remaking ff7 would take 5-7 years... how long would those games take... and the if they did remake those games to 3d... I would kill Square enix... They better not mess with the classic games.

I agree with you. I also dislike it when people base a game off its graphics. But, since FFIV and FFVI are older games that didn't rely on graphics at all, what would be wrong with improving them? They were phenominal games in every other aspect, and they even had good graphics for their time, but what would be wrong with improving the graphics more?

You do have a point, though. They wouldn't re-make anything, as it would take as much to develop and program as a "new" game, and it probably wouldn't be as good of an investment.

All right, I agree with Mike and Nathan, graphics aren't as important as a lot of other qualities in gaming, but honestly it would be so frickin' sweet to play upgraded versions of past FFs! I mean, obviously it would suck Square-Enix's money dry, but what's so wrong with that? I mean President Bush sucked a trillion dollar surplus dry in just a few years and he still got re-elected! (BURN!)

Yeah, economically it would be retarded to remake any FF for the PS3 (except for FF VII, just because it would sell, and, dammit, Square-Enix knows it would, the bastards! [/short burst of fury]), but...come on! There's no denying that it would be totally awesome!

CecilDarkKnight's belief on this matter is a myth. Graphics do not spoil gameplay. A graphically enhanced version can live up to the quality of its original version. If Final Fantasy I thru VI were remade as 3D games, then they can sell very well. It is not that I judge a game by graphics quality, but it is that 2D console games do not sell well nowadays. Most gamers, especially casual gamers, prefer 3D graphics. Another reason is that Final Fantasy IV, V, and VI and Chrono Trigger being remade as full 3D games, under the supervision of the game's respective original staves, would get those old school gamers to realize that graphics do not spoil gameplay.

Out of the FF games I would like to see a remake of III only cause its the only 1 that hasnt been rereleased. As for other games I would like to see remakes of some of the old games like Duke 3D, Wolfenstien, Kens Labrynth, Blake Stone, Original Doom, Shining Force, Soliel (my first rpg), the old sonics, Mortal Kombat, Streets Of Rage ect...

These were the games I grew up with and it would be nice to play remakes of them, with extra areas and more of a story added. I am not to concerned about graphics, more detail than full 3D is good enough imo. I must admit though I would love to play a remake of FFVII hehe.
