FFIX: Where are you?

Whereabouts in the game are you? I'm at the start of disc 4 and I'm just about 2 fight the fire fiend. So what about you?

I've completed the game for the second time.
I've got almost a perfect data on my meory card except for Excalibur II, cards and Quale battle.
I've done all optional battles including Ozma and Tantarian.

I am at Burmecia in Disc 1, about to have a showdown with Beatrix!

i just married garnet myself. of courdse that was before i left home, ahh that memory keeps me going

Working on getting Excalibur II, only thing
I have not done yet, yes, Garnet can use her summons early on in the game if you get enough MP. Through excessive leveling.

im on disc 3 after i have the airship, i am levelling up.

Im at the final battle and i got no energy to even try to level up to beat the game. Im like u could say... 5 steps away from the battle. i forgot what was my level.

after having to restart due to being stuck in Cleyra, I am now shortly before cleyra agaiin, but don't dare entering *sweatdrops*

what elvel were you guys at the start of disc 3....just so i have an idea for myself?

As sad as this sounds. I've owned Final Fantasy IX since I was 11. And I still have yet to actually play the game. Because my stupid brother takes out his anger aganist me by deleting my saved game files. So I never really bothered to go far. Although he keeps beating it over and over again. But on top of that. Really I've never been past Disc 1. Or past Black Waltz. I think I was stuck in the Ice Cavern

Im on disk 2 the part were alexandria is destroyed. Zidane is level 35 and im almost half way done with the chocobo side quest.

I've beaten it i believe 3 times. I've done eerything except get Excalibur II ( beat the game in 12 hours).

Hint: for anyone completing this, you need to skip the cinema scenes. you may be thinking, " I've pressed every darn button, but the thing keeps playing." The trick is to open the disc tray and then shut it again. This will allow you to skip those scenes.

Also, it would be a good idea to save before you buy anything or search for something, go in and write down where things are or what you need to buy, and then load to do all that. This will help you save time. Good luck for anyone trying to complete this.

I am on my second time through the game and I am on disk one right at the biggining at the part where you crash your air ship after kidnapping the prinsess.

Well I beat the game again like a couple months back. So that would put me either at the beginning or the end. It really depends on which way you want to look at it. I still want to get lv 99 characters, I only have a 90 Zidane, which I have been working on, so that would put me at the end of the game. How you want to consider someone that it finished but still playing because they have that they want to do?

I am at the part when you have just gotten indblium (SP) Castle, this is my 2nd time through, I havent decided whether to level up or go through at a weak level, I want to try and do pretty much everything on this game except for Excalibur II (Though apparently doing that in 1 save IS possible, found a guide on gamefaqs), they main thin I am concerned about is the cards as I pretty much havent played them yet :S
