Like Leviathan, I have faith in my ability to do the things I do. But, it's kind of annoying when a thread that is 2-3 months old brought back. I see why it stopped back then too considering everyone is just speaking of what they have faith in, not for debates or any arguements one could speak of and what not.

I have faith in my brother. It's my job to raise and look after him. I have faith in my four closest friends. I have faith in myself - somewhat. I have faith in my boyfriend. Meh, what can I say? I don't trust everyone. In fact, I hardly trust anyone, but I have faith in the above.

Well I have faith in nothing. I don't see me succeeding in life, and don't really care if I do or not. Yeah that sounds stupid or emo or depressed but whatever floats your boat. I simply do not care enough about anything to have faith in anything. Faith loses it's meaning when you find out the true, and faith is just a lie, just something to turn the eyes and ears from the truth. Think of it like this...
The God and the Devil... God is faith, or in other words, fake. Ex. Say a friend of yours got into a car wreck, you PRAY to GOD that they are ok, why? Because you can't accept the fact of their death. Devil is truth, people are scared of the truth of reality. Can't accept the fact that their friend probably won't live, and hope to God for their friend to live. But when their friend does die, they don't blame God like they should, they turn another cheek and say something along the lines of 'Oh it must be Gods will..." When people die they can't acknowledge the fact of death and imagine a place of pure hearted prosperity, or in other words Heaven. They are scared of Hell, which in reality is just what happens when you die. Hell is "in the middle of the earth", and when you die you do "in the earth six feet under". Now why do you think they put you "Six feet under" and the Devils 'number' is 666? Coinsidence? Probably but thats not the point. Last edited by Plinko; 05-06-2006 at 12:26 PM. |

I have faith in my God. I have been surrounded by religion since I was very young. It was pushed in my face,and I was forced to learn it. Even though I know a lot about it, I never loved their god's. In my mind god was a being that walks with you everyday. He had the eyes of the air, animals, and life itself. I have faith in My God. A god that walks with me through life. Watching me lovingly. other Gods are too mean. They speak of unconditional love, but then end you to the pits of hell for sinning against them. Their God's are hypocrits an Judgmental. While my God loves an accepts people for who they are. My God lets you live your own life. Because the real punishment is taking life for granted. If you choose to live badly than that IS your punshment. I have faith in him because even though I may not know what he has planned I know in some way I will move on. The way he sets life infront of me as the cycle, tells me that when I die I will ( either heaven bound of not)I will live on. Having faith in my God brings me to love those with a split tounge, and have their sin's fall upon my deaf ears. I know of their God's, but I have faith in mine
