The Islands of Myth

Bell looked back at Vash, confused. 'There he goes again' She said to herself, she wondered what the hell was up with him. Though she couldn't really talk, Vash and Nari must have thought the same thing about her when she clicked out. Bell looked to Nari, her face said it all, she moved quickly and sprinted down the path, away from the cave, she hoped Nari was following her, the last thing she wanted to do was to go anywhere near that cave again. The idea of that thing inside there just made her spine shiver.

Vash continued to run until he couldn't breath even. Everytime he stopped or looked back he saw that damn Nazi. He couldn't escape him no matter what. He could hear the sound of the knife scraping along that trees as they both ran. Vash did the only thing he could think of because he had tried it at the same time in the war. He whipped around with his gun and opened fire. But the Nazi just kept on running after him. He had deaths glare in his eyes. Vash decided this was the end right here. He still didn't realize it was a mental picture yet. He was going to fight this Nazi. So he did it the only way he knew how to fight, with the knife. He dropped the gun and ran at the Nazi holding his own knife out infront of him. Then he thought he could see BEll not too far behind the Nazi. Wait why the hell would she chase a Nazi? Vash thought to himself. He didn't have time to say anything to hre and quickly got out of the way of the Nazi's slash attacks. Vash countered by kicking the Nazi in the stomach sending him to the ground. It's working, I'm killing him! Vash thought to himself. He stabbed his own knife into the Nazi's head and took it back out again. With that, the mental image lifted. The only thing there was a tree that he had hit.He sat down against it breathing heavily.

Bell carried on running until she caught sight of Vash, he turned around to look at her, his face seemed different. He raised the gun at her. Bell's eyes widened she ducked hoping not to get hit. She put her hands over her head and looked up when she heard the gun fire. It just missed her. She got up and started to run again. 'Whats up with him!' She wondered. Bell started to pick up her pace until he turned around and stared at her, his gun fell to the floor. Bell started to panick slightly and took a step back. Vash's arm raised and he started to charge at her. She ducked again and held her hands over her head. She felt so scared. 'Everything will be alright soon, you'll wake up and everything will be fine..' But she could still hear movement around her. She looked up and saw her husband, staring down at her, filled with rage. Bell closed her eyes but she soon felt a fist hit her. She looked up hoping to be back but she wasn't. She curled back up and cried. Bell ached all over and leaned up against the wall and cried. Her husband stormed out and slammed the doors behind him. Bell blacked out. She wasn't sure of how long, but when she opened her eyes she saw Vash leaning up a tree. Bell was so pleased to see his face. She moved over towards him, barely standing as she still ached and kneeled next to him and put her arms around him, tears still streaming down her face.

Nari tried to stay up with Bell. Her leg didn't help as the bandages got more soaked in her own blood. "Bell! Wait i-i cant keep up!" But Bell seemed to be ignoring her. "Bell wa-" Before she could say anymore she fell over a tree root sticking out of the ground, face first into the ground. The first thing Nari felt was her leg in pain. She laid there for a minute hoping Bell had heard her fall, but she didn't. Nari place both her hands on the ground to push her up but she fell back down when her right arm seemed to cause more pain then her leg. SHe looked up to where Bells back was before she carried fell over, she wasnt there. "Bell..." she said feebly as she tried to stand. 'Alone again... fan-bloody-tasic.' She placed her hand to her chest and pushed her self up with the other. When she was standing she took her hand in the other. It looked broken, or badly sprained. She held it back to her chest and looked around hoping to see Bell again but there was no one. Nari couldn't stand on that leg anyl onger so she moved away to a tree. She slid down it and closed her eyes. I want to wake up now... someone wake me up. She didn't care if something came to eat her now. Her only family member was most likely dead facedown on the beach, and she wasn't any better off.
