10 $.... Just like that.
It's real cheap...

okay... so it's 3:55 AM, and a state of confusion has come over me...
i bought Final Fantasy Chronicles (IV and CT) and Final Fantasy Origins (I & II) awhile ago and have yet to open and play them. I played FFII when it first came out, but i'm confused now... or maybe cause i'm so tierd... What's the difference between Final Fantasy IV on Chronicles, and Final Fantasy II on Origins? |

Final Fantasy II from Origins is the FFII on the NES that was never released outside of Japan. It has since been in both Origins and Dawn of Souls.
Final Fantasy IV was released internationally on the SNES as Final Fantasy II. Square didn't want Americans to realize they were getting screwed out of the real FFII and FFIII (and FFV), so they named their SNES releases accordingly. It was a stupid move on their part, because now people like you (I don't mean anything by that, by the way) always have to ask the same questions over and over, because it's often hard to explain the situation without being able to look at everything. Go to the General Final Fantasy section and read my sticky regarding FF release dates. That should clear up any confusions you have.

well thanks. i have a basic idea what you're talking about. i just didn't understand if they were different games or not, but i kind of used common sense thinking one was a japanese to u.s. port...so i guess i should play FF II on Origins, cause aparently i've already beat IV.... but didnt understand if it had any new stuff added or what not. from the screen shots on the back it looks as if there were some graphical enhancements.
