Beating the game:Final Fantasy II

Ok I have a question refering:

Spoiler: You know how when you beat Emperor, you can still wander the world map... Is there anything you can do or it is just something cool?

Ive looked on gamefaqs and theyve said nothing

I beat it and right after that i wandered around, but from what I did I didn't see anything knew, but I wasn't really looking that much so.

after i beat it, this option came up and asked if i wanted to play some other version called Dawn of Soals, you get to be the temporary characters that have died during the game.

oh ok nah it just asked me 2 save and if i wanted 2 play again. i had a little wander but gave up . btw i played the origins version i have the rom as well

Thats an added game for the gba game, i need to beat that some time.

as for the topic, no there is nothing special to do, it just a little bit od coolness.

Oh no I was playing the FF Origins versions but Im sure they're the same, I had a fly around the last night and talked to some people which said the same stuff as before, would of been nice to see them re-build those towns but oh well

Lord Grim Sword there is a difference between the GBA: Dawn of Souls version and the Origins Version. Dawn of Souls has a bonus dungeon that allows you to play as the temporary characters you get throughout the game. Origins doesn't have this.

So to answer your question there is nothing at the end of Origins.

I still haven't beaten Origins' version of II (or any version for that matter.) I haven't the patience, but I do go back to it every now and then.

not true - when you finish either the orgins or DoS version of FFII, you can reload your completed file and it puts you right at the entrance to pandemonium, with all your items/stats as they were when you beat the game. this was to give people a chance to complete the bestiary or finish any other side quests they wanted to do - so they could then go back, and beat the emporer again and have a 100% completed save file.

That is not true. I have DoS version and when I started play Soul of Rebirth I didn't have any weapon and Items that I have before beating Emporer.(like masamune and 99 potions and everything like that). Stats are stays. Like if your Minwu have 9999 HP before he die he have 9999 HP in pandemium. And you can't have 100 % game finished if you have forget to meet every bestisary enemy before going search Ultima and if you haven't collect bestisary full before beating Emporer you can't have 100% bestisary because you can't come back to earth surface from Pandemium in Soul of Rebirth.

I don't remember this all to well. But from what I do remember, I didn't think there was anything new to go and find or do. You can do whatever you want in the world, there just isn't anymore additional quests.

No point really, just level up your character if you want I guess.
