DoC Battle ~ Let the games begin!!

<~ OOC: IMPORTANT: Anyone is free to enter this battle. Make sure you know what character to use, since they are posted in the DoC thread. Be sure to introduce your character in your post. You are free to name your character, and also choose the functions of your accessories. ~>

After Fenii received his enchanted Deck of Cards from the ancient Magician Iliara, he went back to his town Terra to deliver the message to the citizens. He had to journey all the way back through the forest and the mountains, over the field and through another forest to finally arrive back at Terra. Once there he went to the most crowded place of the town: The Eastern Martket. The town new four markets, all in different wind directions. The Eastern Market was not so far to the east of the Grand Palace that was located in the center of town.

As he walked through the town, people made room for their leader and praised him with many good words. He came to the main square of the market, which was slightly elevated and quite spacious and was designed for special events such as theater, entertainment or announcements. As Fenii stopped at the center, all the people gave him their undivided attention. It was now time to share with the people what he had planned for so long: "Dear citizens of Terra. You all know I have established the order of the Phoenix Knights, a supreme group of fighters. But let me ask you, how can be something be supreme, if there are no lower ranks? That is why I have created the magical Deck of Cards, which allows even the most simple of man to fight with the burning passion he has deep inside of him. I want to see the fighting spirit so many have, but afraid to unleash it. That is why I, from now on, declare the birth of the Deck of Cards. Anyone, who wants to show that he can fight like he should, can step forward now. Choose one of the cards and show all these people here how proud you want to be of yourself. Let the games begin!!"

He suddenly heard a male voice: "I would like to try!!"

Randell stepped forward and Fenii looked at him. "Come closer" Fenii said. Randell walked without fear near Fenii. The moment felt like eternity. Randell looked at Fenii and saw everything that he admires. Passion, power, everything. " Who do you wanna be" Fenii asked gently. " The Red Mage, sir. " Randell answered quickly. " Tell me, why?" "It feels natural to me and..." Randell said.

Fenii didn't do a thing. The Red Mage card started glowing and then... Randell felt the change. But he didn't say a thing. He was ready for this.

"Now. Who is as brave as him, will now step up" Fenii said.

Then he heard a voice."Umm.. Sir.I would want to try it..."

Description:
The Red Mage is a very well-balanced fighter. He is both trained in sword combat and Magic, making him very flexible. His skills aren’t that strong but he can adapt to almost every situation. Magic is his advantage

Clothing:
Standard Red Mage outfit: long red tunic covered by an even longer red cloak, trimmed with gold
Wears a stylish lightweight red hat
As footwear he has some sturdy red boots, also trimmed with gold

Weapons:
Standard steel sword (Single sided)

Accessories:
A beautiful silver feather he wears in his hat.
Two silver anklets, in his left anklet he has a red diamond etched in.


Magic:
Fire, Blizzard.

Abilities:
None

Story:
The Red Mage was chosen to be the Diamond in the Deck of Cards. The Diamond symbolises beauty and equality. He is the most balanced fighter of the four and is very promising. Even though this the most balanced fighter, Fenii hopes that people will be original and not only choose the Diamond:

Randell was born in a poor family. He has experienced many accidents and deaths. He is still shocked about his parents who were killed unhumanly. He has always been supportive to others and admires Fenii. His dream is to become one day a Phoenix Knight.

It's fine, but don't post a whole Character Profile in this battle. Just tell wich Card you've chosen and say your name, which will in fact also be the name of your character. You can tell the history of the character as you fight. The function of the accessories will also be explained during the battle using short sentences. Example: "The silver feather in his hat, that increased accuracy, was given to Randell by his grandfather, which he had lost in an accident."

Something like that. The DoC is made as a method to quickly get the hang of RPBing. So not to much riff-raff.

***Swooosh!!!***as fast as the wind.....

"Get that thief!!! And a raging mob of guards chased after a man,Arrest him!Scoundrel stole the mayors bags of gil! Hahaha you cant catch me slowpokes!nobody can out run "Light Stride"! hooh Im getting tired....

*And they ran al over town,chasing and wreaking half of the market!"Ive got to find somewhere I can hide!...There he sees a crowd..."Ahhh perfect!I should be able to elude the guardsin that crowd!....And he ran as fast as he can and shoved hiself into the crowd, and soon blended within."Where is he?the guards were baffled and was confused..."Lets go this way...maybe he went over to the Inn and hid there...lets go men!And the guards went loking in the wrong direction...

*"Hehehe the fools..hmmm I should probably hide here longer incase those guards come back...hmmm wat are they doing in this crowd anyway...Ummm Excuse me....pardon me....And he saw two men standing and facing eachother....hmmm...whats this???

*"You there"!...Fenii pointed and called upon the stranger who bursted into the crowd...."Who me?said Light Stride...Yes...it seems you have been drawn to this crowd and is destined to pull out a card from the magical deck....."Oh no Im just passin by and...."Silence"! Shouted Fenii!...I know what you are!and I sense a great aura within you boy....now pick a card from the deck..."but ummm....alright alright...all I have to do is pick one card right?fine fine,you dont have to get all pushy now....here we go...

*Light Stride draws a card from the deck and shows it to Fenii...."Here....can I go now mr.?...Fenii was amazed....Fenii speaks to himself in his mind("the cards choose the warriors in place of their abilities and chooses their master)..."Well done master thief...you have chosen the "Wind Card"...one of the elemental cards...one of the rarest I believe!

*"Ok ok ca I go now?I really have to go...I have an ummm....appointment with someone!...errr I have to go to the bank and deposit my Gil.......

***Suddenly the guards came back....

<~ OOC: On the one hand, I'm glad we have two people fighting. On the other hand, there are no Wind Cards Only the Heart, Spade, Diamond and Club as posted in the DoC Thread. Remember that no signatures are allowed in the RPB section of TFF, so turn that off, by de-selecting it when replying. Also Kit, if you have Microsoft Word, copy your text and put it in a document, so that it will automatically correct your English. ~>

Fenii looked at Light Stride and laughed: "Hahaha, I was only kidding son, there is no Wind Card! That is the Spade, meaning your character is a Thief." The crowd seemed to be very excited and chattered with one another. Fenii got their attention again and spoke: "Ladies and Gentleman of Terra! I hereby proudly present our first DoC match starring Randell the Red Mage and Light Stride the Thief! It's Diamond vs. Spade. I wish you two men good luck! And let the games begin!!"

Horns sounded at Fenii's command which signalled the start of the fight. The two eager fighters looked each other straight in the eye, awaiting ones attack...

***OOOps just got carried away by the magical stuff there ....hehehe Ok I thought the cards were like a "Yu-Gi-Oh" or "Magic Cards" hehe my mistake!IL make my format alittle easier to understand ok Ok then Off to Battle...Scene 5....

*Light Stride...("Damn it...what have I got my self into???I should get going my brothers and sisters are waiting for me...we need this money to buy some food...damn...) Light Stride spoke in his mind. "Umm Errr... Sir...Fenii...are there any prizes to the victor of this match?I mean What are we supposed to do?play cards?

*Randell "Are you scaed thief? scum like you dont stand a chance against a nobleman like me!the red mage clan have been superior combatants in the fields of magic and weaponry!prepare yourself knave!

Light Stride stood quietly and awaite for Feniis answer...totally neglecting what Randell was saying...

*Randell" Insulent curr you dare not answer me and ignore my words....I shall have your tounge for this un ethical behaviour!

*Fenii "Calm yourself Randell!....

<~ OOC: The appearance of your character is already set. It's a Thief.

Second of all, don't double post, give your opponent the chance to respond.

And third of all, do not, I repeat, DO NOT control the other characters, do you see me talking with YOUR or Red's characters? No, but you are controlling Fenii. Please, do not do this again, remember that basic RPB rules still apply here.

Also, I lead this battle, and you were supposed to attack, or wait for RedMagician to attack. Now, I will pretend this weird stuff didn't happen, but let it be a lesson for you and other aspiring RPBers... ~>

"...games begin!" Suddenly a pack of strange of horns awoke Light Stride from his daydream. He noticed he wasn't the Ninja he thought he was. He was just the simple Thief the card made for him. Light Stride crossed eyes with Red Mage, and wanted to let him attack first. After all, Thieves are much faster then Red Mages, it would only be fair if he would let Randell move first...

(((OOC~Sorry, sorry, sorry. School is fukking me up. I try to make some posts in here. And finally, somebody came to the fight. ~OOC)))

The rush of the adrenaline. The roar of the crowd. It was the only time when Randell felt alive. He tried to make an eye contact with Stride. But he didn't see anything but a big grin. He knew that Thief is faster. Everybody knew that. He streched his muscles. Then, he was ready for the fight.

Randell pulled out his sword and attacked. But Thief dodged the attack.
"Oh my. This could take some time" Randell mumbled. As he knew that speed is the power of Thief, he had to do something to it. But he didn't know what. There wasn't much time to think, as he had to dodge Stride's attacks.

There was many things on the line. Pride, honor and the power, but Randell didn't think that. Randell just noticed one thing. He has changed. When he was a kid, he didn't think that he would some day fight somebody.

As he woke up from his thoughts he saw the Thief attacking. But Randell easily dodged.

As time was running slowly, the two of them just fighted. Attack by attack, Hit by hit, they began to wear each other down. But they knew that the battle has just started..

That is another example, please note that a fight is a fight. Think of it as a game of chess. Each player controls his OWN side. He moves and the sees if the opposition falls for it and finds another way to attack. Also, I REALLY, REALLY advise you to read the RPB main rules. That way you'll avoid sloppy errors like this and will enjoy the fight more. ~>

Fenii interupted the battle: "Wait! Both of you take it easy. Take a moment of breath. This is a good clean fight, show what style you have. Show your humor, show your personality!" Fenii looked at the two fighters, that were standing opposite of each other. "Okay gentlemen, are you ready...Continue!"

The crowd saw the Thief moving first...

....Ok ok Gosh im so ashamed ...were such newbies eh red mage?Its good that we have a great referee ...Ok IL try my best this time... ...Ok let me see just like chess huh!?


*As Light stride saw Red mage he knew that he can cast spells to disable him with status changing magic or offensively harm him.Now he thought of a good strategy,speed is his only chance of beating Red Mage,either to disrupt him before he casts a spell or run him out of MP by dodging the spells...Light stride walk side ways and prepared to attack...

*Light Stride..."Hey Fenii...you didnt tell me what we were getting out of this fight yet?Im asking because I want to know if this fight is worth my time...( Damn...Ive got to hurry and finish this and get back to my brothers nd sisiters)...Light Stride said to himself.

<~ OOC: The intetion of an RPB is to fight...you didn't attack, and the turn is now for Red Mage. Kit...what the hell were you doing? You have no double no-datchi daggers. You have one dagger. It's a character preset. Read the Thiefs profile. This isn't a story you're writing, so get to the slashin' and bashin'!! ~>

"Very well. As you wish" Randell replied. He started walking away.But suddenly he attacked Light Stride with his sword. Randell felt the power flowing in him as he attacked. He stopped the attacking and thought what next. He was always like that. Randell made his attacks in rush, but didn't think of the future.

"Oh you're so dead" Randell mumbled to himself. He was ready to cast the Fire spell. But something disturbed him. Maybe it was the weather, but he couldn't do it. "Fire!"he shouted. But nothing happened.

Randell didn't think about it anymore. He was only thinking about surviving.
He gathered power from everything. Trees, people. Everything. He attacked fiercely. The sword was very light in his hand as he made his way towards Thief...
