While it probably isn't necessary to have all the jobs that V does, I think it's cool that you can completely customize your characters and it makes for a lot of replayability. It's just more fun to be able to play the way you want to instead of the game forcing each character into a set role, in my opinion.

I admit at the moment I do have mostly stereotypical jobs equipped - Knight, Monk, White Mage, and Blue Mage - but once these are mastered I'll be able to experiment more. I don't even have all the jobs unlocked yet but I think it's great that I can potentially try out almost any concievable combination if I feel like it.

Well, Most of them were usful.the one that I didn't find useful was the red mage. Until I mastered it, it was sucky I mean it can't learn all the best spells.

Lightbulb Absolution!!!

In my point of view you guys really take your gaming a bit too extreme...but thats why were here hehehe well most of the guys have had very good points, full with every last bit of detail so IL just add up some pieces of my mind......boing hehehe....im not spamming ok! hee hee

Ok then,I find some of the job classes to be ineffective in physical battle but very effective with magic.good in attacks and bad with supportive skills.some jobs have skills that you will really have to acquire inoreder to upgrade another job,the skill from the other job is fused with another job to create a stronger warrior.

for example a knight, strong in offense and in defense.perefect frontline fighter but without support like healing, anti magic and status barriers he will be outnumbered and out of luck!hehe but obtaining the healing skill of the white mage will surely solve this burden.get the point.a lot goes for every job,you take away their weaknesses and use the other jobs skills, magic or strengths and combine them to create the warrior suitable for the battle he will be encountering.

*Therefore all jobs are necessary,to survive and outplay the game.although some jobs take a lot of time to get a certain skill but it will be worth it to create your strongest warrior!

Well I have a Q, Is the Dancer class a good fighter? Or is it just a stupid dancer.

I didn't think all of those jobs were necessary. There were a few there that I thought were great but some of them weren't so much. I suppose they all had their advantages and disadvantages. They all probably came in handy at some stage. I never completed this game so I didn't use all of them. You probably wouldn't keep the same job through out the whole game, you could switch between characters so that they all learn new things.

I don't think all the jobs were necesary because you only ended up using bare afterwards anyway. I think some of them were also just a little filler material because of the lack of attacks in each job lol.
