Did the first KH game really have additional content? I thought Japanese KH had like ... the Unknown boss or something. I'm assuming its the latter, really. My friend played through the game and she really enjoyed it, so I'm looking forward to it. Although I'm still kind of perturbed at some of the worlds like Tron. :\
Honestly though, [color=red]you'll really want to play Chain of Memories to understand the plot and who the hell characters are[/b]. Really. Passion is BEAUTIFUL. I love it, millions times more than Simple and Clean. I hope the English version doesn't turn out too badly. I'm sure it won't since Hikki is a good music artist in both languages but yeah ... X; |

Well as far as I know the KH Japanese and American releases were the same. However, after KH was released, six months or so after the American release, SE released Kingdom Hearts : Final Mix, which had the extra content you are talking about Tif, the Unknowns, more optional bosses and the extra, extra ending teaser Deep Dive Trailer, which still is my all time favorite game trailer ever, I have not seen anything that comes close to being as cool and awesome as Deep Dive. And no not even MGS4 or Zelda : Twilight Princess, I've seen them both and they do have giddiness quality in them, Zelda more for me than MGS4, but Deep Dive just has giddiness off the scale, its like scream like a school girl, giddiness.
But yeah, I am disappoint that Mandy Moore is not going to be this Aerith in KH2, she did a great job on the voice. I was pleased with all the FF characters VA that had not had voices before. Yuffie and Squall too, especially Squall, just something about David Boreanaz voice and Squall that makes me swoon. Oh, he has a beautiful voice, it was perfect for Squall. If they did a remake for FFVIII, I'd want him to VA Squall or else I would cry. I am just a little worried about Lance Bass, if he is returning for Sephiroth and if Sephiroth as a speaking role this time, we only heard him during the battle, so it is easy not to hear it. He seemed fine in KH, but I am still cautious, I don't like the idea of Lance Bass VAing him, but if the voice works, I cannot really complain, well I can, but there would not be much point to it.

I dunno. In my opinion, the voices Sephy made in the battle were dark and tormented...but that is to be expected of a VA from a boy band.
I guess I just didn't think it suited him. Cloud, Squall, Yufie, everyone met my expectations as far as voice actors went; Sephiroth I envisioned as an almost insane, deep voice that tears at your heart because it was once considered beautiful, but is now wracked by madness. I was overall very pleased with the selections that were made, however. One of my focal points was the fact that my favorite Square characters were being voiced, and I was very critical of that fact; it's like finding out your heroes are milkmen in real life. (not bashing milkmen). |
