Definitely the knight. He can cast some white magic and he has good strength and defense as well. He also has great armor and weapons, but lots of Hp as well.

i think it would be red mage.he/she can do anything the black and white mages can.

Black Mage has a sweet hat... but.. ninja is a Ninja.

a theif he gets fairly good weapons,has a high evasion rate,and a cool sprite.

I would pick Geomancer. With Terrain they has gotten me out of a lot of tight places (takes up no MP!), swinging bells is really cool, and they has strong attack.

Sage!

They can use White and Black magic, as well as Summons. I like the idea of having a Healer, damage dealer, or Summoner all at the same time. Plus the Sage Staff gives an attack rate of 110 at level 99, plus +10 on All Stats.

*hey hey those jobs arent in final fantasy 1 guys,wrong series!

*Ok those jobs are fairly strong.....if they manage to get a high level later in the game,ive explained this before that the knight is the best job/character in final fantasy 1 because all throughout the game he is dominant in the battles and he can outlast any other job when it comes to endurance and taking heavy damage!

*But if you manage to get a black mage,theif or monk into a high level they might be good too hehehe but the knight is still the best!

I thoughoughly believe that the ninja owns that game!!! not only is he a trained killer but he can use some black magics aswell. And he just looks cool too.
