Do you mean Tiamat? He looks like bahamut and you fight him in Ultimercia's Castle. I think you do. You fight him once to release your abilities (GF, magic, reviving etc).

My favorite Monster is the Bombs from the fire cavern they have always been my fav monster, and my favorite boss is the Abadon from the Great Salt lake, I like undead bosses, they always give me a challenge for some reason lol.

for sumons it has to be Neo Bahamut

for bosses it has to be omega weapon with is deverstating attacks and thats it really

Why do they give you a chalenge if you know you will fight him then use a Elilxer of P.Down.

Umm... Neo Bahamut isn't in FF8

But yeah, omega weapon is a strong enemy. I prefer the magestic monsters though, anything mythological like dragons, chimera, behemoth etc.

That doesn't have anything to do with FF8.

Anyways, my favorite monster would probably be Marlboro. Even though they kinda scare me, they've always provided a challenge with Bad Breath.

Hey ho guys...those are all wicked and mean favorites ya got there!theyre all strong,weird and funny favorite monsters but Ive got another monster in mind...this guy is an easy enemy at first but when he reaches level 99 he can wipe out your party by himself...he's a common monster you fight on the fields between Deling and Galbadia Garden...Heeeerrreeessss...Wendigo!...yes! the gorilla monster of Final fantasy 8...hey have you ever fought this monster at level 99?well I did,hes ****ing strong man!and he even uses a limit break skill when he's near to death...he squeezes your character and bounces you like a ball,hitting all of your party and damages them about 4000 or 5000 hp...this monster killed me a couple of times because I thought I could get steel pipes out of him,but later did I know that he doesnt drop those after hes reached level 30 above...boo hoo! well got other monsters to share bub!

[Crazy Chocobo]

Wendigo? I found them very annoying because I nearly got killed by them everytime. They are very powerful and can really do some damage to your party if you're not careful. Some other enemies that I thought were cool were Blue Dragons, they were cool looking and had some useful items when defeated. Turtapods were easy enemies and were good for just getting some exp. Cactuars and Tonberries were awesome as well. Cactuars are good for exp also but they get away so quickly. They don't give you much time to attack. You have to be quick with them! Ruby Dragons and Blue Dragons would probably be my all time favourite in the game, I say that just because I love dragons.

I'll tell you a couple of the enemies I can't stand!
Malboro: They just give your characters status ailments and it's hard to get away from them. My characters tend to get confused and attack themselves which causes all of my people to die and then I get angry. They have useful items though.

Tri-Faces: These enemies are tough to beat for me. They are powerful and take away a lot of HP with just one attack. They are good to mug because of the curse spikes, but besides that...I like to stay away from them.

Anacondaurs are a good enemy. I don't know why...

Other then that... the monsters on the Island closest To Hell are fun. Blue Dragons, I think they're called, are REALLY fun! Easy to beat once you get past level 40 as well.

for me it is the abadon because one pheonix down and hes out. you could screw around with actual fighting but one healing spell does like tripple damage
