Well then...I want you to promise me to keep commenting on Red XIV's battle. It is actually your task as a Phoenix Knight; to help your fellow Knights. Eventually, we will not be rivals, just dedicated RPBers who will claim themselves better through challenges. At least when the ladder system arrives.

So, once again, post comments on the battles going on in the RPB section, that counts for all the Knights

Hmmmm, it seems were all just waiting for the tenth position to be filled so I have a small suggestion. Let's scrap the tenth position for the time being and when one of us scouts a worthy contender for the postiion, we'll contact you inferno and you can add the position again. That way we can get knight fights started which will at least keep activity up. I'd rather do this than have everybody lose interest before the club has time to show it's true potential.

That IS a nice idea, and I'm thinking about doing it. Fine. Let us scrap the 10th position for now, and focus primarily on the Knight battles themselves. It will be great publitcity and people will understand the concept of RPBing more easily.

I hereby pronounce the tenth place a ghost position. Meaning we can start fighting! The ladder system is activated! *Whispers at Colt:* "Hey, wake up. It's show time..."

Well that's just damn good timing. I was about to go start my RP with Argentos. Today's a writing day for me. I'm feeling it. So, that said, I suppose it's time to get that underway.

As I'm sitting in second place right now, and you wanted us to leave your shiny little King's seat alone until February, I'll respect that. I will issue no challenges (as I can't move up right now), but will remain open to anyone who wishes to challenge me. If a Pawn would like to challenge me, please remember that it will NOT be for rank, as only Rooks can challenge Knights for rank. I will likely accept your challenge all the same, depending upon what else is going on.

I'd also like to stress a reminder for everyone...

Members can only be in ONE LADDER MATCH at a time. As for non-ranking fights, I personally won't put a limit on that, but I'd say don't push yourself to more than you can manage. I probably won't fight in more than one non-ranking Phoenix Knights match myself, because I still have the RPBs both outside of this club and on my own forums to tend to.

Well than you have your first challenger. Or if you maybe are too busy now, any other knight that will accept my challenge is invited to do so. With that said, one of you (or I, if you prefer) can make the thread and I'll post as soon as possible.

....Complete and utter crap. I don't even need to critique it. It started out okay, but then...went really bad. Dark Angel needs serious help and practice.

Now this one is pretty decent. But Oh my God, he keeps leaving his damn sig on. Someone tell him how to turn it off, pronto.

Sevion just plain sucks. He needs to get better and stuff. But then again, so do I. =P

Wow, Jay... there's a distinct difference between criticism and constructive criticism. I don't see how anything you just said will help anyone become a better writer. "You suck" certainly doesn't help in any way I happen to know of.

I never said I knew how to give constructive criticism. That's more your department.

And besides, why state the obvious? I'm sure we all know what's wrong in those threads anyway, so why say something that we already know?

It doesn't matter if WE know what's wrong with the threads... what matters is that the PARTICIPANTS know what's wrong with their threads. Sometime when I'm not trying to do half a dozen other things, I'll run through the threads and pick some bits and pieces for each DoC participant to have a look at.

Well, the Dragoon guy had trouble creating his character...He still hasn't created it, because he was worried about a lot of things. He's just a little insecure

Which is good, because that shows he's not taking it too lightly. Also, I'm glad you gave critique on the posts, but what Colt said was important:

If they don't knwo, they'll never improve. Also, if you see someone with potential, comment that person better, to make him EVEN better. That KJ is pretty good and I hope to see him grow in the future...

I agree with the assessment of KJ. He seems to be improving with every post, and that's outstanding. I like the way he's going with the battle, and that me and him manage to stay on the same page with it. We've communicated our intentions pretty well throughout.

I think he could become really, really good.
