bahamut is indeed badass...

But i stick with Gilgamesh.

I know people dont like the fack you get him so late on, but considering how many mini boss fights theres are after that point, its good to have him around.

That, and this isnt a "Whats the best GF" thread, its "What GF would you be" thread... and i would love to rain death from the sky like bahamut, but i would prefer to rain death from 4 badass swords.

Those are all cool GFs but you all have left out one very important one Ifrit. I mean he is a big hellish dog thing and he looks realy cool on FFVIII.

Carbuncle. Why? Because then I could screw over your party by casting reflect on them so when they try to cure, you in fact completely restore the HP of the Jumbo Cactuar. =) Sorry. Just a tad frustrated at the moment.

Umm, I would actually probably choose the Phoenix although it's not a controllable GF. (Unless you have a couple phoenix pinions handy…) It looks the best in my opinion and is the most useful GF. It saved me so many times. <3

If I had to pick to be 1 summon, just to be differant i'd like to be the Tonberry King. He's deathly slow, but not to be messed with, and can easily kill in a singl eblow if he desired to.
