Ummm no not really why would change something that has done well for you in the past? the way I have looked at this new generation of consoles is to base it on past experience Sony so far have made two amazing consoles that I have enjoyed and loved, Xbox made an overhyped piece of crap and Nintendo brought out a good console but alittle lacking in triple a titles and they were alittle far between when they did arrive

so thats what i am basing my opinions on Sony haven't let me down in the past and from there line up i would'nt say thats gonna change, Nintendo well I am not quite what the actual console is gonna be like yet so i wait more information and X-BOX will need something serious to turn my head

Yeah I think that's what I'm gonna do. I played an Xbox 360 in Best Buy and it was nice and it was purdy but I mean come on all of it's going to be purdy.

Personally the only reason I bought an Xbox (the original) in the first place was so I could play Halo... That system was based primarily around the Halo franchise. Halo 2 pissed me off so bad that I don't think I'll buy an 360 so I can get disappointed by Halo 3. I mean there are other good games like Knights of the Old Republic and Fable and a lot of other stuff that the Xbox has that was good but I dunno... I'm gonna stay my hand for now.

The PS3 definately does sound a bit better, what with backwards compatibility and the Blue Ray technology. Hell I'd buy it for backwards compatibility alone. That and I seriously doubt any FF's are gonna get released for Xbox...

I agree, "Brand loyalty" simply means you've been pleased with a company's products in the past and thus plan to buy more from them. EVERYONE does it, in some way or another.

Now FANBOYISM where you disregard everything else solely for your favored product without care. THAT'S retarded.

Now with Paine saying the PS3 won't be junk, I'd say is a little naive because Sony has ALWAYS had problems with hardware reliability. DRE's being the most infamous. I'll get a PS3 only because of its STRONG thrid party support, but not at launch. I'll wait until all the possible hardware flaws are addressed and known.

Nintendo on the other hand is known for their reliable hardware, and because I'm really stoked about Revolution, I'll be getting that right away.

I'll probably get an XBox 360 once the price goes down, because I'm interested in playing games like Blue Dragon and of course several SNK titles that Sony refuses to publish on the PS2 in the US. I hate them because of it.

I haven't played a SNES in year except roms, If they have a good selection of games with its release I will most likely buy it, as for XBox it only seems to have a good selection of FPS, I will probably not buy 1 unless they release something worth it, I have only played some sports game just to test it out. As for the psp it has apparently done well but at the moment I haven't seen any good games besides GTA:LS, the DS on the other hand apparently has FFIII which is 1 of the FF's I dont have. But 1 good thing about the PSP is the potential it has with the PS3 like the mini playstation (which never really took off) and it would be great to play the Chocobo world game hehe.

After looking through the list I may start saving for a ps3 soon, the 3 games I will be getting are Tekken 6, FFXIII or whatever its called and that pocession game looks quite good. As for other stuff it can do I will just have to wait and seem, am looking forward to its release
