I love GTA1 and 2. I liked the camera view alot more and the missions were always so much funnier and light hearted to me. GTA3 was fun but not quite as much as the first two. I liked the sniper rifle the most. I haven't really played Vice City and San Andreas much. Vice City was pretty much like GTA3 but with motorcycles, helicopters and planes. I've barely gotten to try San Andreas but it looks to be more fun than Vice City was.

Grand Theft Auto and other urban gangster adventure games are not my cup of tea. I once gave in to the politicians' views on the Grand Theft Auto series, thus rejecting it, but I was told by GTA fans at another Final Fantasy board that we should not give into the politician's views on GTA.

I started with gta 1 and spent hours trying to get the tank and the blowing everything up in my path, I also spent hours on GTAIII doing all the missions and snipering the Triads to get my rating higher, i got to like 2400+,. I done allmost all the missions on III except i could never really complete all the rampages, the grenade 1 off the train tracks was my favourite, and the rocket lancher kicked ass, I played a lot of Vice City as well but never got that far as my brother kept going on killing sprees destroying everything. As for GTA SA i never played it as the whole ghetto thing annoyed me, and my copy of it disapeared, I still have the cover but not the actual cd

I think I played Vice City for about 5 minutes one day. I never really got into the games that much. I'm sure the series is really fun and it definitely deserves some credit for the following that it's attained. However I'd rather watch others play the game, instead of actually playing it myself.

No, I have not played all of them.

I played three PS2 GTA games - III, Vice City and San Andreas - and after that experience, I wanted to try the original GTA and GTA 2 but I just could not get around the 2D control system and the lack of saving options.
I easily got stuck playing a PS2 GTA game for hours and hours.

Yeah I've played every one from the original GTA(PS1) to Vice City Stories(PSP).

My favourite has to be San Andreas, I don't care if it's over-rated or whatever, it IS an amazing game. The way you can customize everything is great and the missions arent too hard or too easy and provides a nice gameplay experience, and when the cops chase you with 6 stars, that's always fun.

The PSP GTA games(Liberty City Stories & Vice City Stories) were kind of a letdown for me but on the other hand, they are good for when your on the move but they really bored me.

Way to necro post, guys...

-_-

In any case, I've played 2, Vice City and San Andreas. I like 2 and Vice City. I did not like San Andreas. Why? Well, it was too bright and annoying. My eyesight couldn't take the strain of looking at the screen whenever it was playing. I kid you not. Also, I disliked the story and most of the references it held. I found it to be different from the other games, and I didn't like the change in that.

San Andreas was the best when it came to running around causing mayhem, cos they was just so much you could do! But it wasn't so good when it came to the missions, some of them were pretty boring, and most were either way too easy or way too tough.

I liked GTA San Andeas. I thought there was more places to go and it was a lot more fun. I thought the mission "fender ketchup" was funny lol.
