My apologies for not replying for the last few days or more, I have been thinking about whether we will make a new thread for our club and about our new guidelines and goals.

I think it is a good idea to start anew and begin to gather people of other religions. The reason is because we will get a chance to learn each other's practices and express each others views. I have made our first introduction post, which I will post here later, and I would appreciate it if everyone would critique it.

Below I have attached a file concerning the new guidelines of the club, once again I would like everyone to help me on this. (Thanks you guys :3)

About the RP situation, I would like to thank Anomaly for the offer he has made with us, our Honored guest. I appreciate it and I would like to join your RP, since this would give us added practice for more RP/RPBs in the near future. I will not force the club to join the RP for it is their decision whether to join in or not.

It seems that I am having trouble thinking of a title for the new club thread. So c'mon guys help me out, please? *sniffles* T.T

I like these two rules I think that they seem to say to anyone interested in joining that this is a club for people of all faiths. I would really like to see a number of differing opinions become available in this thread I think that it would make the conversations very interesting.

As for a title how about something that promotes the clubs goals like:
God's Sanctuary - let your light so shine.
Or
God's Sanctuary - all you need is love.

I really have no idea I'll try to think of a better one while I'm out and about today.

Makesure the title does not state that our club is Christians only. We need a title that means all of us (people with different religions,etc).

Here is the introduction post:

Years have passed since the day the Bringers of Light disappeared from the world of TFF. No one knew what happened to them nor where they disappeared to except the last active member of the club, LocoColt. Although he was a member of the BoL he is also an administrator working to keep TFF in order. Weeks later, a mysterious woman named Blackrose resurrected the Light club called "God's Sanctuary" after her misfortunes in the Brotherhood of Doom, her intentions for resurrecting the Light club is unknown...

Accompanied with Blackrose is a swordsman named Suzu Kitamura who joined God's Sanctuary in hopes of meeting new friends and possibly become an angel himself. Suddenly, both members of the club were struck by messages from people who despise the light(BoD), but the two still kept on. Though the Light club and the BoD are not on equal terms, their Leader Toromor still welcomed them as a club...

Seconds, minutes, hours, days, and months has passed by and Blackrose seems to become more inactive. Her inactivity led her to drop her position of leader to her good friend Suzu Kitamura who is, to this day, is left with the club to take care of. Her honorable effort to bring back the Light was not in vain and shall never be forgotten.

As days passed by since Blackrose left, the club had more members who believed in the Light, those people are the members who devoted themselves to light and these members are...

...how about "Seekers of Illumination"? I have been fond of this name ever since the idea of changing the club's goals first appeared.

Though the intro post isn't too much to my liking (sorry, Suzu...). I'd change it somewhat like this:
[BEGINNING OF FILE]

"In ages forgotten to time, the war between Light and Darkness waged in the fields of The Final Fantasy, a plane beyond our Universe. The side of darkness, the feared Brotherhood of Doom, was at first unchallenged, threatening to hold all of TFF, and the universe itself, under the grasp of darkness. Then, as a response to the ever-growing darkness, a brief glimpse of light was formed: the Bringers of Light. The warring factions immediatedly waged war, but the war ended swiftly. The Bringers of Light were separated by religious differences, and the division beneath the ranks shed the light away. The BoD claimed the victory for their own, facing a weakened BoL army, while the strongest in the ranks claimed allegiance to a new faction, the Soldiers of the Moderate: a faction for those not attracted by the division of the light, or the excess of the darkness. And, the small glimpse of light faded away, until the day of August 8th, 2005...

A former BoD member, lady Blackrose, separated from the ranks of darkness and revived the small light fading away from TFF. The small call was originally a call of defiance, of anger for not being 'like them'. If at all, it was almost like a joke... But the Light works in ways human reasoning cannot comprehend. The small call was answered by brave warriors of the Light: the swordmaster Suzu Kitamura, and the fallen angel in search of redemption Kaitou, and together founded the new Light Faction, the God's Sanctuary. The BoD instantly defied the new Light, and hesitantly recognized their position as a club, despite the words of arrogance towards it.

During the next days, the call was answered by many other people, eager to work towards the light: Pastor Zeddicus, the Paladin -to- be T.G. Oskar, the good-natured Spaz, between others. Battles have been fought, members have joined and gone, and time has passed away. And in this precinct of light, knowledge was preached and sought above all.

In lieu of this knowledge, the members of the God's Sanctuary realized that Light was comprised of many pathways, and not only the pathway presented by Christianity. The members had forged tolerance towards these brothers in Light, people who lived righteous lives despite their religious differences, which sometimes escalated in wars. The very same factions of Darkness were tied by the concept of a single evil, spread between many visions. It was time, thus, for the Light to realize good came in a variety of visions, even though these visions by themselves were not always in accordance with each other.

And thus, a year after the foundation of the God's Sanctuary, the members decided to embrace all those brothers, willing to tolerate their differences, in search of greater knowledge. Long has passed since Lady Blackrose stepped away from leadership, granting the right to Lord Kitamura. The original vision has changed, and the goals and objectives are no longer the same. Yet, the desire to keep the Light alive has not diminished, but rather enhanced.

Now, the calling resounds louder than ever: the Darkness, and Evil are threatening to consume the Universe whole. Now, more than ever, we search for people who share the ideals of good, no matter which vision it may follow. Beyond the impending war against the darkness, we search for people that are willing to tolerate differences, while striving to achieve a common good. We do not search for exemplars of good, but for those who are willing to be better people. We do not search for the wise and intelligent, but for those who are willing to share knowledge and learn from it.

We are...the [insert name of new club here]. We wish you have a pleasant stay, and wish to be your brothers..."

...and from that you can develop an introductory post for the club, placing the new goals and objectives, the requirements of entry, and the current members, their positions (if any), and anything else you might like. Of course, if you don't like it, feel free to change as you like.

@Anomaly: I think we should better wrap things up in here before joining into any long-scale RP involving more than one faction. Most of us (I think I'm the only exception, seeing as I participated in other RPs, RPBs, and I'm starting to make my name known, it seems) feel like not enough trained, it seems. Of course, if they accepted, I would have requested to set-up the outlines of our club's participation, if the members would have allowed it. I'd have discussed how we were going to participate (if we were to be members of the Ultimate, the Ultimates themselves, or a faction outside of the Ultimates, with their own goals and objectives), and set up as fitting.

...hoo, that was a long post. Whenever everyone's ready, either Colt will do the request or I shall, as ambassador, or maybe Suzu as leader, whichever the fittest (though Suzu would be the fittest, being the leader and all...) to remake the thread and archive this one.

Before you create the new thread, you may want to come up with a new policy for accepting new members. Our current 3-question quiz may not be suitable. It may be difficult to come up with a decent title. IMO, a simple "The Light Club" will do.

Also, today is the 5th anniversary of 9-11. If you haven't already, I'd like for you to listen to this song: Heaven 911. A truly depressing song indeed. Very inspiring.

T.G.O you do not have to be sorry, I asked everyone to critique and help me did I? Your help is much appreciated. I like what you have done with the "beginning file" of the new club and I like Seekers of Illumination, but I think we should hear more from the members. If that is okay with you.

The "beginning file" is perfect as it is, I am not surprised since you are very creative and much more experienced than I am. Good job!

My thanks not only goes to you, but to everyone who has contributed to the club. I am proud of the group we have here and I am sure you all are proud also. So give yourselfs a pat on the back and a nice snack.

It's oddly remniscent of "Bringers of Light," but infinitely cooler. The name still state's the club's orientation in this little faction-esque separation some of our clubs have, while actually sounding cool at the same time. It might also draw more attention. I'm fond of it, myself.

I guess I'll change my vote to Seekers of Illumination.. It does sound a bit too sohpisticated, but seeing as the other clubs have decent acronyms -SotM and BoD-, SoI seems to fit in well (better than TLC or GS ^^; ). The timing for the club's title change is perfect, since Suzu and I are in the process of creating the club banner.

As for the policy for accepting new members, we should eliminate our current quiz and simply require brief background information from the applicant.

Also, concerning the RP, Fullscale Destruction: Since TGO seems quite willing to setup the stage for our members, I'll participate in the RP once we get things finished within the club.

Anyways...

My vote is on Seekers of Illumination because it just sounds cooler than our current title. SoI's first post is ready and when this thread is archived a new adventure begins for us.

So before I go PM Piroblaze I would like to ask everyone.. Are you guys ready?! Tell me you are ready!
