I was messaged regarding this by him. I was given full creative reign, though he did prefer we do the battles less sloppy (unlike Dark Side x Light Side... whatever that means, I wasn't there). I think we should honor them a fair fight, as their champion was brave enough to accept our challenge (don't laugh at me). I'll get to work immediately on creating the RPB. Looks like the sparring practice on our training grounds will have to wait... Unless one of my fellow dark bretheren is willing to do 2 RPs at once that is.

Edit: I have created the RPB for Versus the Moderates, feel free to look, but post not unless you are willing to follow the rules. It looks like I will be dueling with Loco. Who else here plans on attending?

Indeed. Not only does she possess an enchanting, nearly seductive aura, but she is a moderator... thus she would make for a powerful ally, politically as well as physically. We would rule with an iron fist.

Concerning the RPBs...

I'm assuming our main priority will be the battle with the Soldiers of Moderation, though, again, is their anyone who is also interested in doing 2 RPBs? If not, I'll delete our training grounds thread (http://www.thefinalfantasy.com/forum...ad.php?t=40816) and repost it when the current battle has come to a halt.

Normally I wouldn't come in here and post in your thread, but there's something I wanted to make clear to you. When I said "that nasty piece of shit excuse for an RPB" I was referring to the fact that the whole battle was in one thread.

If you want to do a club v. club fight, for the love of anything unholy, make separate threads for each of the pairs. Trying to put a dozen people into one thread is what made your last one sloppy and incoherent in the first place.

As I mentioned before, I'll host the thing in the TOA forum if you'd like, that way, all our threads can stay together instead of getting mixed up with everything else in the RPB section. Just let me know, and come up with whatever pairings you'd like. Then I'll put all the threads up in TOA, and whomever posts an intro first will be the one who sets the stage.

And when I post my thread against vertamitlu, I'll still let him write the intro, since he went through the trouble of posting that other RPB thread.

I'm gonna go ahead and create the thread for the two of us, so just keep me informed of the pairings as you go along. Make sure whomever you guys challenge is willing to fight though, because I'm not gonna let you win against someone who doesn't want to post... that's kinda stupid, right? This is all in good fun, remember.

Doing one-on-one, separated fights with the moderates is fine with me.

Loco, I know you prefer those tight, controllable environments - let's call it purist RPB. For me, more fun lies in great, chaotic battle settings with bunches of interacting characters, wild and "sloppy". That's more "dark style" as I see it. Despite, I also really enjoy those ono-on-ones and I am looking forward to it.

The fight against light was not a tournament, it was a _battle_. I intended to wipe the Light Side from the face of this world. And we did. The light side was pushed through a classic evil plot, they were primarily offended, than eager and over-confident, than trapped and finally crushed. We abused them to expose the powers of darkness. They never had a chance. In war, everything goes.

The "moderates" are in no way a threat to the dark empire so we are ready to face them in a classic tournament. Of course, we should not lose because of our rep but as it seems, some of them are considered as superior RPBers so we will have the advantage of being underdogs and they have more rep to lose. I am absolutely confident that even on what I consider as being more "their" ground, we will defeat them all.
