The coolest attack performed in a Final Fantasy....

Let's take some time together to appreciate the hard work the characters do to perform their cool moves.....ok, that WAS indeed a bit corny, but summed up:

Tell me what you think is the coolest attack you've seen in a FF. This can be a normal attack (that would be lame), a skill, or even a certain magic attack. So, share that with us...or....me.....awww whatever.

Anyway, the coolest attack to me is: Omnislash...beautiful....,just beautiful. So fresh, so pure, so asskickin!

Well thats preaty hard because I have alot of favorites.

I like KOTR summon in FF7. It was alsome the first time but then after a while it got old and it took a long time to get through it.

I always liked the main characters final limit break. Like Clouds Omnislash, or Squalls Lion Heart. There always cool and do alot of damage.

Um....I like some of the magic attacks too. Like flare, ultima, and holy. There cool and do alot of damage too. But after a while they were the same and got old.

Thats about it....

Quistis cant remenber how 2 spell her name right but her
shockwavepulsar was a badass looking atk!

2.Banish, Seymore kills your aeons =), FFX
3. I do like all of Bahumats** (I can't spell his name) Flare moves, they do own ^^
4. Sethroiph** (havent played much FFVII) Nova and Super Nova
5. Kuja's from FFIX overdrive moves
6. ALL of Quistis* Limit breaks they are all bad ass
7. My char's Holy on FFXI =P

[Cloud Strife X]

The coolest attack ever is Cloud's normal attack. Because, you know, his sword is the coolest ever.

Just joking. Seriously, though, my favorite ability is probably is Galaxy Stop, Olan's signature skill from FFT. Being able to freeze all your enemies, no matter where they are on the battlefield, is awesome. Too bad none of your characters can get it for their own use.

I liked a lot of the attacks from Final Fantasy VIII. Lionheart is probably the one that looks the nicest. I liked many of Zell's limit breaks, partly because they were kinda fun to do and such. Quistis' were pretty cool too.

Barret's Hammer Blow (though it doesn't do much damage). I say this because Barret throws his enemy Helluva far, just like his real-life, Helluva tough equivelent (Mr. T).

Well I think the best attack was Zell's Limit attack.I can keep that attack going on forever.

I think the best move ever would probablly have to be Tidus overdrive move were he does the sword slaches repeatedly and then Yuna throws up a ball to Tidus does the Jecht shot. That move really jets me pumped when an enemy is really tickin me off and I can finally launch that move.

Aurons moves are pretty cool as well, and pretty much every other main character in the FF series I have played like Cloud, Squal, Zidane, and Tidus and even Yuna in FF-X2.

......Come to think of it FF-X2 is the only game that does'nt have overdrives, trances, or limit breaks.

I think that the coolest attack was done by Lulu in FFX, and its not even a powerful attack, its blizzard. I love how she just flicks her hand and does this cool little powdery white thing at the enemy. But the other cool thing is her weapon, I love using that cool little onion knight and because I boosted her power stats to 255 its the funniest thing to see this tiny little thing with a sword stroll up and take out just about anything in the game.

I thought Omnislash was a little...simple. Just repeated slashes really. Despite the special effects.

I thought Meteorain looked pretty funky. And I thought Supernova was pretty cool.

I think clouds cross slash is great, almost everytime you use it against a normal enemy you know its going to go down as he stands there making three cuts, and the phrrr noise of the enemy dying just completes it all

Cross-Slash was pretty ace, as were most of Cloud's Limit Breaks. My fave Limit Break, though, will have to be Climhazzard. I first used on a Land Worm, and I just sat in awe as everyone's favorite genetically corrrupted amnesiac stabbed and dissected a thirty-foot worm.0.o
But the best FF attack of all time has to go to the Ultima spell from FFVI. Blue dome, rising energy lines, rocks flying up, damn-near 3D graphics, and 9999 on a pre-VII make it HAcoreRD.

That should so be the official description for Climhazzard. (although with CAN in there for the 30 foot worm thing)

Bahamut's megaflare from FFX is just perfect. But Barret's Sattalite Beam is okay.
