I wish I could say I've done anything this summer, but I really haven't. I've worked, worked, worked, and sat on the forums doing administrator stuff.

I've had a bit of a social life, sure. Lots of wandering around with friends, parties and that sort of thing, but really nothing exceptional. It's been a rather boring summer, to be honest. No travelling, no camps, not even any surgeries. It's been a bit bland.

I wouldn't complain too loudly about the whole no surgeries thing. Your body might want to spite you for that comment and come down with something even MORE serious than what you've been through already, just to teach you a lesson.

As for me, I've spent some time reading, writing, and gaming. I've finally participated in the third round of a TOA, which I believe is a first. I usually win the first two rounds and drop out for various reasons before I begin the third round. In all reality, I've never lost a TOA match. Cesar isn't the only invincible one around here, you know. =P

Beyond that I'm very excited about my NEW WEBSITE! Eternal Works in Progress has quite the catchy name, so if you haven't already done so, click the banner and go there. You'll like it, even in its infancy.

Beyond that even, I've kicked major ass at work. Seriously, I should be worshipped for my level of greatness. I'm getting promoted to a salaried manager position very soon, so that will be great for me. I'm already putting in close to the same hours, after all, and even with the switch I'll be bringing home several hundred more a paycheck. Very, very nice deal.

Anyway, to bring you up to date with my life.

I've just been away on Holiday to Cyprus for a fortnight, it was well good, some cab driver tried to sell us weed and we got lost on a nice little drive and ended up at the turkish border.

Also, today is my 17th Birthday, I got quite a bit of money from relatives and my parents are treating me to a meal with my mates and some driving lessons. I plan to go to town today with my mates to have the said meal and spend some of the said money.

Well, I say this all the time but I plan to be more active now.

Greetings! I've heard you are a Club designed for fighting and such! Well so are the Phoenix Knights. Since yesterday we've started to participate in inter-club battles. And I've also understood you are a neutral faction, meaning you are just a Club who just want to fight, without too much ruckus around it.

The Phoenix Knights say that we are the greatest and strongest faction out there. If ANY Club disagrees, they are more then welcome to step in to the Club and to challenge one of us. I must warn you all, though. We have seen the battlefield and we are used to it as well. But, I suppose you have all seen it as well, and won't be frightened so easily. I hope to you soon!

Tonight, I come to you not as a Phoenix Knight nor as an Ambassador.
Tonight, I come to you as the organizer of the Tournament of Arms.

I have an idea. Due to the mass amount of animosity between the clubs as of late... why not fight one another where it really counts -- the official battlefield itself, for the title of Champion of Arms?

The latest thread to grace the TOA forum has all the information any inquiring minds may need. Vital information, at a glance, is that your organization will need to be willing to supply its four best fighters for the tournament come January. If you are interested, feel free to hit up that discussion topic with any questions or concerned. I hope that all four organizations will be willing to participate. There is much time for practice, should you need it.




Now, away from the multi-thread post for a moment... a note to my fellow SotM members. I can't participate for the club, considering I'm kinda... running the tournament. If we can't get four experienced and willing members for the tournament, the entire club will have to have its four positions sacrificed in favor of open entries for non-allianced members.

I KNOW we have good RPBers in here. I want to prove that in the TOA.

If you will have the time come January, don't hesitate to say so now.

I have considered trying out an RPB again. But it's been soooo long. I'm really rusty. Plus, I get pretty busy during the week. But weekends are flexible.

How often would we have to post?

Also, yeah, Omni is good writer, but he doesn't come to TFF as much anymore. He says he's been meaning to, though, soooo we'll see. I would love to fight in a tournament with my brother.

Well, the premise of the tournament has changed. It's no longer clubs against clubs. Too many people who weren't in one of the four factions cried out against it, so I scrapped the idea and drastically altered the premise of the tournament. All the same, I'd love to see you participate.

As for your brother, I see him all the time in FFXI, but nowhere outside of the game, that's for sure. I'm pretty sure it has consumed every ounce of his spare time outside of homework and theatre stuff.
