I heard some of the Japanese Voice Acting in a preview for the movie... and I really didn't see what's so special about it... O_o
Yar, It seems that on [adultswim]'s website, they say only 15 FMA episodes are to be aired... It seems like kindof an odd place to stop. I mean, why bring over 1/4 of the show, when the story doesn't really have a breaking point?

friggin aswome
i recently saw all the episodes of fma subbed. I thought that was one of the most amazing animes ive seen. i didnt read the manga.there are a few thing they didnt explain in the end. great ending about the truth and all. but damn i found it stupid, like what the hell they should have a second season, but i guess the movie will clear it up i hope.

I refuse to watch torrents for FMA. I've just been buying them as they come out. Sadly, I have to wait until volume 8 comes out to see more. I'm weird about it. I won't even watch it on Adult Swim.

Adult Swim is currently on episode 48.
They went farther than 15. I am at Chapter 57 in the manga and so far FMA`s manga has a more devloped plot.

FMA is one of the beste anime series I have seen! Seen them all subbed, I really want to have the Japanese voices on series. I love Japanese! =D Saw the FMA move yesterday, Full Metal Alchemist Conquer Of Shambala! It`s so great! When the ending text appeared I needed to sit back and just think about the movie. It`s so strong! I recommend it to all FMA fans!

Adult Swim airs on Cartoon Network late night andshows some good anime usually in the TV 14 area and have a LOT of crappy comedies with the exception of Family Guy and Futurama and maybe Aqua Teen. FMA is currently the most watched show because it is the last 4 episodes. The manga is much better written. The Anime is by Square-Enix and the manga is by the original author. The mnaga handles the plot much differently. If anyone wants a good source to read the manga online, PM me.

March 7th....I'm so ready for that date. Why? FMA Volume 8: Altar of the Stone comes out that day. This every other month this is for the birds!
Oh, and SIN_WRATH.....please use the "[spoil]" tags in the future, because your post just gave away a huge part of the FMA series....part of it that I haven't seen yet...

Voulme 8 wasn't supposed to come out until March 7th here in the states, but I went to Best Buy today and it was there, available to buy. Funimation has advertised it as coming out on the 7th as well as every other online anime store. But here it is, sitting on my desk in front of me.
I guess I just lucked out on Best Buy's mistake.

Best Buy breaks the street date for anime A LOT. I've gotten a lot of volumes of anime, including FMA, a week or two earlier than its street date. The street date for anime isn't enforced as strongly as for stuff made in the states.
If companies break street date for US films, their stuff won't get shipped to them until the day it's due out. Considering that things like pricing, tagging, and locking are need for most retail (and a shit load more work is needed for rental places), this can be seriously troublesome. I'm happy they break street date for anime, though. All of the best series seem to have extremely long periods between releases.

True that. The next FMA isn't scheduled to come out until May 2nd. But now that I know Best Buy releases anime titles pretty early, I'll keep an eye out about a week before the release date.
