I didn't watch the match but I watched the highlights on the news, it was hilarious when christiano ronaldo (is that his name?) was crying, bwhahahahha! Haven't laughed like that in a long time.

And congrats to that blonde girl in wimbledon, whos name i can't spell, who beat serena. Well at least the TV schedules will be back to normal again. WOOHOO!

yep. TV will finally get back to normal... well as normal as it could possibly get. The thing I don't understand is why on earth every news program in England are asking the same question. "Why didn't England win instead of Greece?". It's bloody obvious why we didn't win. becasue there were so many other better teams than our own. They trained harder, played better and worked together better as a team.

Anyway, just watched the new series of coupling on BBC2. Man, I missed that show.

Haha yeh, I watched that. Genious. I love the show's format, always showing the stories from different perspectives and stuff, and therefore the jokes too, meaning the same joke is repeated but gets funnier each time.

Apparently there was an american version of it, which, also apparently, sucked..

I think the station was heavily promoting it, but I think it only aired one episode. Maybe because of complaints, or maybe cause it sucked.

But, I don't like the fact that father ted is having a USA remake! And i recently heard that when the USA office remake was shown to a test audience, they hated it! LEAVE OUR SHOWS ALONE! All of our shows are going over there recently, pop idol, wife swap, etc. Sigh!

I didn't know that the usa remade Red Dwarf too! BAH! i heard absolutely fabulous was remade too, and, from what I heard, fawlty towers. Though i haven't found anything about them on IMDB.

Ok, so many problems. Americain Father Ted wouldn't have Ardel O'Hannon or the guy who plays Father Jack so it just wouldn't be as funny.

The Americains will probably make Red Dwarf more and more like a moderately funny version of star trek.

As for The Ortegas... lets just say I will not be watching it if it comes to the UK. That probably goes for the other ones

The Americain Coupling was exactly the same as the First English episode but obviously the yanks just don't get our sence of humor.
