Anyways, on terms of time........I guess it all depends on who I'm copying off of and how complicated the drawing is. I could've sworn I talked about this before or something. Whatever, this one drawing I did of Lulu (which none of you, except S and Bunny, have seen and probably won't see unless you like NAKEDNESS. I wonder if imageshack actually looks at every single damn upload for porn. But I guess if you really want to see it, you can ask.) took like, 3 f***ing hours. That one of the sexy Count Cain took me more than one sitting since I kept f***ing up...well, everywhere. I redrew the arm, that f***s up the face, so I redrew the face....etc. It still looks kinda f***ed.

In other words: it almost always varies. Usually around under an hour for a good copy. Like Tsutomu Nihei's. Those I like.


But yes. Here, have more relatively freestyle drawing. That's what makes it authentic and crap! Just ignore how much I ripped off Tsutomu Nihei for it.

Because it pretty much tells what happens through the entire thing.

I guess it doesn't matter since there's no real surprises. People die and whatnot but it's all expected. NO SURPRISES.

Ok, Disraeli was more or less Killy, Ban and Velimir were figments of imagination, Julia was some chick off Shirow Masamune artwork. Terence was based off that the japanese guy in City of Lost Souls. You know, the ping-pong-Michelle-Reis loving sexyman. Oh, he liked bondage and model making and that was super awesome. Mitsuhiro Oikawa, that's his name. I think he was in Casshern, which was a pretty shitty movie.



And....I dunno, yeah. We never even used storyboards for our final assignment, which was obviously a video (Note: this storyboard has nothing to do with our final project). Our group made up the storyboard AFTER we finished the video, which was actually finished a long time ago. Semi-long story, I'm not going to explain because it's not really that interesting.

i really like your stuff, man, no shame in copying. i've always been taught draw what you actually see, not what you think it looks like, so in reality all art is copying, weather you did it from a picture or sketched a tree in your back yard. if you're copying, i wish i could copy that well. you are my new idol

Yeah, but now I can't draw anything I can't see. So kids, don't copy. Go to art school or something and actually learn art. Course, the only job you'd get after that would probably be teaching.

Sure, knock yourself out. It's not like I have any ownership over most of them. Might want to let me know which one you're using though, since I can direct you to the much better original. And who knows? It might even be in colour.



And to add pizzazz to this post: I was looking through my bookmarks of artists to find this one guy but I couldn't find him so I'll just put this one up. Haven't copied anything from here though.

Man, it's been a while since the last one. That's because I've gotten lazy and don't even feel like drawing much anymore. Not to mention I have no classes that give me the opportunity, except Brit Lit, which is where I did this. A recopy of Killy, one I did a maybe a year back. I like this one more since I copied off the sketch directly, compared to last time where I copied from both the sketch and colour cover. There's also Laharl's head and some Sho-u Tajima sketches.

I think I'll also throw on some wallpapers I did, because...f*** knows. That MPD Psycho barcode stuff, he actually mispelled his own name to 'Soh-u'. I didn't catch that until later and then I said f***.

First wallpaper I've ever done! Know why they're amazing? They're not. I just got tired of wallpapers that never fit my screen because it's widescreen, 1280x800. I also have a ton of Sho-u Tajima sketches that are really really easy to scan. So I figure, f*** it, I'll make some myself.

Yeah, if you love Tajima and MPD Psycho, you have to get this. If you can find it at jpqueen, you'll probably be able to get it for almost half the price. Hey, that's what I did. Oh god I'm going to turn into an import freak.

Side note: If anyone's awesome with photoshop and wants Tajima's scans, make me wallpapers and whatnot and I'll send over the entire book.

Next update of crap: No clue, I'm just copying Tajima's sketches for now. Gorilla Kick = f***ing great.

This actually was done in January. Well, the Tajima part. Pretty sure that's just some sketch he did with no relation to anything. Then there's some KoF, Falcoon-style. Iori you are teh secks. Tatiana Wisla reppin' the Last Exile front. I gave her cleavage because her chest was too blank. HOTNESS. Lucia of SH: Covenant's giving out love while Flonne of Disgaea gives out love AND peace. And finally Mamimi a la FLCL manga. Her question mark bubble got cut off because I wanted to keep in the teeth guy's face. Yeah. Maybe I should've saved this for next month.
