New Ffxiii Screens!!!!

just saw this posted on ps3fanboy.com - shows what appears to be ifrit, shiva, and carbuncle in FFXIII! could the mysterious 'lightning' be a summoner?!

Wow, all three summons look really good. At first, I didn't know the one in the green was Carnbuncle till I saw the red jewel thing it always has on its head. This is pretty sweet though.

It'd be interesting if Lighting is a summoner and if she is the only one who can summon them. I'm hoping to see what other summons they have though. Hopefully Alexander and Leviathan or Bahumut is in this one. I'm also glad that they aren't using FFXII summons either. I miss the original ones.

it's definitely the real deal - it might seem bizarre because it looks so freakin good. the next gen has become the current gen - and this game should blow everything out of the water (including lost odyssey... sorry hironobu

). i mean, consider this, final fantasy games are already renowned for their CG cut scenes - well just try to imagine how incredible the FFXIII cut scenes will be now that square has FFVII advent children under their belt. freakin incredible.

Both of these games are looking really good. But im still a little confused on why both of them are 13. Are they like suppose to.....connect somehow in someway?

im sure they will, from what i have heard so far is that they take place in the same galaxy but not the same planet. (please correct me if i am wrong) but seeing that they are both 13 there more then likely will be something that ties them together. i have been trying not to find out much about these 2 games so that they are a total suprise to me, but i do love seeing screen shots of what is coming! thanks for posting what you found postal

Carbuncle scares me.. But the other two look really good.
I'm very excited about these games. I can't wait until they come out.
I should pay off my Ps3. Ick.

It looks good, but the style looks like it borrows a lot from Advent Children. Specifically, the three people at the bottom right look a lot like the Turks in Advent Children. Hopefully, it will have its own personality.

I am excited.

I'm real excited as well. And I love the addition of Carbunkle, in the games I've always found him/her extremely useful, fun summon to use.

As much as I hate to disappoint, the one on the left isn't Shiva. It's Siren. Note the wings coming out of her head, a la FFVIII.

That, and the text below the picture also names her as Siren.

I didn't think that was Shiva either because in one of the trailers it showed her as that bike and she didn't look nothing like that.

Yeah, that's definitely Siren. I can tell because of the harp she uses. I can't wait for these games to come out.. whenever they come out.
