rated m?
i was watching the new trailer for Versus and i tell u what, it looks freaking awesome, but i also noticed something else. The violence level is alot higher and more intence then the other ff games in the past. at one point as the main character is pulling off some sick moves he impales one of the other people attacking him and there is quite a bit of blood that u see. if thats how it is in many more parts of the game it could very easily get rated M. well at least i think it could. if it did get rated M i wouldn't care. what do u think?

i honestly hope that it is, but could really careless either way (if that makes sense). i put up a thread in GFF section stating that i think it would be great to see a darker FF release. i'm not big on grafics but i think a darker plot would be very interesting, and if that takes a lil blood and guts o-well

I never noticed this in the trailer, and I cant see the image you posted (i do not have permission aparrently) But I doubt it will be rated M, I just cant see that happening. Small amounts of blood can pass with a Teen rating, which I think this game will most probably get.

Didn't FF X have slight blood? Anima's attack sequence at the Blitzball stadium involved blood spewing from her eyes. In FFXII, blood is seen during the opening war sequence. It's apparent that blood isn't the only factor that contibutes to an M rated game. Perhaps it's the sexual content, if any, drug abuse, adult references, you name it.

I think that this game will get a Teen rating. If it gets an M rating, they're severely affecting the likelihood of their target audience getting to play the game, and I just can't see them doing that. I think that the violence will be more intense, but still kept under enough control that it will keep a T rating, not an M.

I really hope it gets a high rating as well, that would be awesome. I would not want to play something that's rated G [Aussie rating] or something because that would be disappointing. FFX was rated M15+ here with medium level animated violence so I would say that this game will be the same. I don't think it would get any lower than that, it wouldn't want to anyway.
 XII is rated the same so yeah, I doubt that's going to change. It's not really a children's game, it's more for teenagers and adults. Kingdom Hearts was more for children though in my opinion because I get bored of it too easily. ><On another note, this is my 3000th post. YAY! Celebration!
