I'm not cursing or insulting the FFXIII producers,but if the game is only available for ps3,it will lose many customers.Bcos alot of ppl play ff on ps2. Its just a suggestion,but i think that the producers shld make it available on ps2 as well.Sry if i offend anyone.

Dude... It wouldn't matter.
The PS3 is backwards compatible, remember? Even if it was for PS2, people would play it on a PS3. >_>;

And besides, I don't know if you've read past articles or not, but a while back, FFXIII lost its exclusivity. So it may be also coming to the 360 or the Wii as well.

Yeah, right now it's looking like the main trio of titles will be PS3 exclusive, and the other ten will be spread out amongst other consoles. As to why Square-Enix feels the need to create thirteen titles for the game... well, I'm really not sure. That's not even a 100% confirmed thing, but I wouldn't be surprised if they end up going for it.

ok people - FFXIII is 100% a PS3 exclusive. at the tokyo game show the FFXIII and FFXIIIv. trailers both said "ONLY for playstation 3" at the end of them.

in fact, i just bought a 60gig ps3 in anticipation for the titles. the reason is most likely due to the hardware limitations of the xbox360. not saying that gears and bioshock don't look better than anything on the ps3 right now, but in 2008 the 360 will inevitably show its age.

This game will be the only reason I buy a PS3. I have this terrible feeling that it's going to be delayed and delayed...I hope I'm totally wrong, but we aren't going to play this game probably (probably...)until early '09. Theres no WAY it's coming out in '08. This game (or games or whatever) will be a CONSOLE SELLER, and thats a pretty big deal.

For one thing why would they make a version of the games for ps2, when these games do come out the ps2 will be completely out of date.
Youre question doesn't offend anyone but when these games finally do come out sometime in 08 or later the ps3 will have a hell of a lot more games and the x-box 360 will become outdated

No, the 360 won't become outdated. Just cause it had a year headstart, doesn't make it a previous generation or anything like that. Besides, don't you know about the new 360 that came (or is coming) out? The elite? >_>;

Consoles don't become so outdated so quickly. It's almost 08' as it is, and the 360 is still not out of date. It is a current gen console.

Well... It would be nice if it did come out on ps2, but the game probably wouldnt be to its full potential, they would have to push the PS2 system to its absolute limit if they wanted to even come close to making it look like what they want on the ps3.

Yeah thats what i thought to.. I didnt think the 360 would be abl 2 support a ff game but hell... we could be wrong. And besides its all about money and fans. Whatever you heard or saw from the game show doesnt matter. Most people who own a next-gen console has a Wii or a 360. And theres no way in hell its coming out on the Wii. Well, if PS3 skyrocket in sales when ffxii comes out then it will probably stay exculsive.. but that is still in question. so i wouldnt encourage anybody to think it will remain 100% exculsive. We are still waiting on confirmation.. Ive been watching this rumor for quite sometime..
