Forum Downtime

Hey all -

As much of you already know, we have a new server that is ready for action. I have spent the last few days configuring it and getting it ready for TFF.

I am going to make the switch sometime tonight and hopefully it will only last approximately 3 hours. We will be upgrading vbulletins to the newest version 3.6.8. This will give us some cool new features (podcasts, rss feeds, better security, quicker), but will come with a loss.

I will port all of your gold over, but it will be called 'Credits' now... There will be no items to buy for at least a week, but you can continue to earn Credits throughout the forums... plus the arcade will still function. I'm sorry for not being able to port any gifts over

It will be the only sacrifice. the VBplaza is so outdated and not supported we would have had to do it soon anyways. There is a new store in development called iStore and is supposed to be 10x better. If you are upset on your loses, please contact either me or better yet Cesar regarding any possible refunds or compensations. I hope no one is too upset since this is for the better good for the forums!

There may be some tiny quirks after we get back online, but nothing we won't be able to smooth out quickly.
