Vawn is a n00b - (lv 0)
Ties to FFI

How many ties can we come up with between the original Final Fantasy and future final fantasy games.

1) Final Fantasy has an airship - every other Final Fantasy also has airships.

2) Final Fantasy's story revolves around the crystals - FFIII, FFIV, FFV, and FFIX's storys revolve around the crystals as well

3) In FF when you start the game you can choose between Warrior, Monk, Thief, White Mage, Black Mage and Red Mage - In FFIII and FFXI the first set of jobs you can choose from are the same.

4) In FF you save a princess named Sara - In FFIII you also save a princess named Sara

Rasler jumps rope with Freya - (lv 5)Rasler jumps rope with Freya - (lv 5)Rasler jumps rope with Freya - (lv 5)
FF1 contributed many concepts that would go on to be reused again and again in the FF series.
  • Bahamut (Most FFs)
  • Excalibur, Masamune, and other powerful end-game weapons (Most FFs)
  • A large number of enemies would go on to be reused (Most FFs)
  • Dwarves (FF1, 4, 5)
  • A kidnapped/endangered princess (FF1, 3, 4, 9, 12)
  • Pirates (FF1, 5, 12)
  • The character class archetypes (FF1, 3, 5, Tactics)
  • Crystals that embody the elements (FF1, 3, 4, 5)
  • Airships (Most FFs)
  • Cid (In every main FF. Actually introduced in FFII, but in all FF1 re-releases, he is the ancient Lufenian who invented the airship)
  • Character class change (FF1-from Bahamut, FFIII-freely change, FFIV-Dark Knight to Paladin, FFV-freely change, etc.)
  • A fictional language you must learn or decode. (Lufenian-FF1, Al Bhed-FFX)
  • The same main villain fought multiple times with different forms, one of which being the game boss. (FF1-Garland/Chaos, FF2-Emperor Palamecia/Demonic Emperor Palamecia, FF4-Zemus/Zeromus, FF5-Exdeath/Neo Exdeath, FF6-Kefka/Angelic Kefka, FFVII-Sephiroth/One Winged Angel, and so on...)

Ralz has levelled up - (lv 1)
They use Fire, Blizzard, Thunder, and Cure magic throughout the series, with the inclusion of -ra, and -ga spells, even -ja. Bahamut often has some signifigance in the story. There often a weapon called Ragnarok that's included. There will always be towns and villages to visit, even castles. Final Bosses sometimes have only one form. There is still Gil as currency. There were Random Enemy Encounters in I-X-2, it stopped in XI & XII.
