Crisis Core - Second Trailer

I'm probably a little behind the times with this, but I recently watched the second trailer for the upcoming FFVII game for the PSP. From what I've seen it appears that its going to have FMV grade graphics on par with your Advent Children UMD while having in game graphics similar if not superior to what we saw in Dirge of Cerberus.

The play style seems very much like the melee fighting style in Dirge (so much so that a lot of the enemies are carbon copies from said game), only this time you'll actually be relying on melee as your main form of doing damage. The only downside is the slot system, which gives random power surges in battle. I guess you could think of it as something like a limit break system, but one based entirely on chance.

One thing that sticks out to me is that this game is going to cover the Wutai war, or at least the tail end of it. The first mission is hinted to take place on a train that has been taken over by Wutai soldiers whom Zack is sent to eliminate. The trailer makes the game feel more like FFVII than either the movie or Dirge of Cerberus were able to achive, but its still basicly an action RPG set in the FFVII world.

A scene in the trailer that thoroughly caught my attention was a 2 on 1 fight of Angeal and Genesis attacking Sephiroth, who is very clearly more than a match for both of them. It's mentioned that these three were childhood friends, so I'm curious if that scene will take place in a flash back or at some point in the games current plot.

Either way, Crisis Core looks fairly good and will be released later this year in Japan.

Has anyone heard any word yet on the american release? Or have their own view on the trailer?
