| Final Fantasy I+II The first two titles that started it all have been made and remade for several systems from the NES to the PSP. Talk about any iteration of these two titles here. |

why did they change the dificulty?
i have heard tht ff1(mayb ff2 as well im not sure) was way harder on the NES. but why would they change the dificulty? and it kinda makes me mad because i dont have an NES so i cant play the game to its full dificulty and fuly enjoy victory. but i know it must be true becuase i own origins and dawn of souls and i rescued the princess pretty easily BUT in the ghameboy version i just headed straight for the princess fought a few bad guys a long the way, fought a few more right before jut to be safe and i explored the castle or watever it was tht the princess was in and naturally had to fight a few minor badies, and when i had to fight tht knight it was even easier. this just confuses me because i dont see why they would mess with the dificulty.

Because americans are stupid and the Japanese are smart, which is kind of stupid as the Japanese are very pro-american. Final Fantasy Origins is one the most easiest RPG's I have ever touched in my life, I defeated the boss in 1 hit.

I own FF for the NES. I must say getting my white wizards to level 99 was way tougher than on DoS. First of all nobody had MP. Just # of times a spell level could be used. Second of all it seemed like the characters in DoS had better hit accuracy. Third of all, it was kind of a guess which characters could equip which weapons and armor. However DoS did have the 4 new dungeons in them, and in one of them was one of the hardest bosses I have ever encountered in a FF game. His name was Omega and he was pretty tough even for a level 99 party.
