DC Storyline Questions

I finished playing through DC yesterday, but tbh I found quite a lot of somewhat confusing...

... and so I have a few questions to ask.

Lucrecia:OK, this really did confuse me. Is she dead? From what I understood, at the present time she was inside the crystal-type-thing in the cave that I assume you visit in FFVII. What exactly does she apologise for throughout... the fact that it's her fault Vincent has Chaos inside him? And how comes she often appears talking to Vincent, is that something to do with Shelke?

Chaos & Omega: What exactly is the link between these two?

Tsviets: What's with the glowing eyes? And what exactly are they- have they been exposed to Jenova cells?

Vincent's Dad: In some of the flashbacks with Lucrecia, we see someone who I assume is Vincent's Dad. What is the significance of him?

The whole virtual reality/data/network thing:This was something that was very un-FFVII. It confused me a bit... such as Hojo/Weiss existing in a virtual reality or something or other... the whole concept just confused me tbh.

I probably have more questions, but I'll leave it at those for now There doesn't seem to be much activity in this subforum, but hopefully you guys can help me out! Sorry if some of them are also a bit obvious...

well this is as far as i know from playing and research:

Tsviets:
the Tsviets are an elite branch of deepground soliders, the deepground was originaly a SOLDIER medical facility but mad scientists were doing experiements which led to the creation of Tsviets. Im not sure if the experiements were on SOLDIER units to try create the ultimate SOLDIER but since it is a soldier facility its the best guess.

Chaos and omega:
well chaos was a monster that was created ages ago along with the WEAPONS and omega. chaos was said to have rid the world of all life and returning that life to the planets lifestream then omega carries the lifestream throught the cosmos. Chaos and omega are the planets final solution to its own safety. Chaos must have existed along with omega but disappeared and was resurrected inside vincent with the power of the G - substance.

Lucrecia apologizes cause it was cause of her that Vincent's father died... about Lucrecias appearences to Vincent....yeah its cause of Shelke cause in one of the processes with the netcom....(was this wt she called it??) her mind got mixed with Lucrecias.....and the virtual reality didnt surprised me at all...cause ff7 is probably the ff with more advanced technology

Vincent's dad:I think that the reason why Lucrecia is apologizing to Vincent all the time is the fact that she killed his dad.The whole deal with him,from what i have understood,is that he was the first to harness the power of Chaos,so he means a great deal to the story.He didn't intend of course to infuse Chaos into Vincent,but his part in the story helped Vincent out.

That's pretty much what I was thinking too. Did Lucrecia infuse Vincent with Chaos to save his life after Hojo shot him, btw? Just a guess...

(and why did Hojo shoot him? because Hojo is a psychocrazyass?)

Hojo was probably jealous of vincent, lets be frank Vincent's one hell of a guy
