Cloud and Leon.

I don't know if you all have played the FF games with these two guys in it, but if you so, have you noticed how they seem to have switched personalitys? In their own games Leon is the silent dark one, and Cloud is more like Leon in Kingdom Hearts. Just wondered if anyone else noticed that or if I have to much time on my hands to think of stuff like that.

I think Squall's (or Leon's) personality in KH was the personality he had in the end of FF8 since his backstory says his world was attacked by Heartless after the whole story of FF8.

However, Cloud seems to have the personality he had when FF7 first started which was the tough "I only speak when spoken to, just give me the damn money" sorta guy.

I see where you're coming from though. Cloud did seem all gothic in KH.

This is a isney game also hehehe all the heros are happy people in the disney castle, and they all care for Sora, i actually like them like this cloud got over his dark side in advent children thx to his friends so hes a more open person now, and leon.... wait didnt leon say in kingdom hearts 1 that he would use his real name once they got back hollow bastion whats u with that. leon has always been a shy cold guy thats who he is but can be a happy guy in the heat of danger.

I've noticed that too,mainly in KH when you first meet Cloud at the Olympus Colloseum.I've thought about it & i think that th reason Cloud is like that,sort of like Cloud in AC,is that he's looking for someone & can't find him/her because of the Heartless destroying all of the cosmos.I think he's looking for Tifa & can't find her,since Aerith is linked to Leon & to Hollow Bastion.Cloud comes from a different world & doesn't fit that much.I'd do the same thing if i couldn't find someone or something i cared about.

No, Cloud was looking for Aeris in KH1.
In the credits for KH1, you see a teary scene of Cloud and Aeris reunite.

But Aeris was there from the beginning...That's plain dumb.Besides,was he living with them too in HB?
Well,there's one thing for sure,they souldn't have messed up the story of the FF characters,that was lousy.
& about that,i don't know how to call her.Sometimes i write down Aeris(like in the game) & sometimes,Aerith.Whatever...

But they all get spilit up if you remember when Sora first meets Leon he is in the same town as Aeris (aswell as Yuffie) but Cloud does'nt appear till the cloussuim (sp?) where Leon and Co ain't no where to be seen (at least storywise anyways) you next seem them at Hollow Basten and I don't think Cloud appears there untill of course then ending

Ugh, I thought I posted here. Anyway, Cloud's KH1 appearance was mixed with Vincent's, and I'm assuming they just embellished his character more based on those traits:

Cloud's look in Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories share similarities with that of Vincent's FF7 look. As far as Aerith / Tifa / Cloud goes (KH2 spoilers):

Spoiler: Tifa IS who Cloud is technically searching for. Cloud is searching for his "light", and Tifa is the one who ends up being the "light", as evidenced by the second "Showdown of Fate" between Cloud and Sephiroth. Aerith is just there kind of as a side. Them meeting in Kingdom Hearts again was just because the worlds were put back into their place and they're familiar with each other. I got nothing of the so-called "teary" part. Anyway, they want to leave the whole love triangle ambiguous anyway. A definite CloTi scene was removed from the end of Kingdom Hearts II because they wanted it to be more ambiguous.

Also, as far as the characters' stories: the game is basically placing the characters in an alternate universe, so the actual storyline for all the characters continue to remain in the main game and sequels. It doesn't really have an effect other than giving fanboys / fangirls more to squeal over.
