FFIII DS End of game information!! [spoilers]
My friend inspired me to make this. He asked me... "Dude, so... they call it the point of no return... is it like FFVII, where you have to shut down, and restart, and you waste your time?"...
I will answer this. And other questions.
First off... the answer is this... You will return from that point. You will defeat the Cloud of Darkness, and, yes, you keep your ribbons, EXP, and Gil. When you beat the game, you will get the chance to save. It will say something to the tune of "Save item and level data" or something. It will then show you the save slots, and you choose where you save, etc.
Indeed, you will keep your stuff, and if you were pwned by the Cloud of Darkness, the damage stays the same. You will have to heal.
My friend asked about stars, too...
Stars are located at the bottom of a beaten game save file. They just say... "Hey I beat the game", nothing else, and no, you don't have to beat the Iron Giant for three stars.
What else happens?
The Opening CG movie is changed. There's a pretty set of dual screen footage, showing the beautiful Crystal Tower and stuffs.
Where are you stuck when you resume your save file? Thank God... outside of the Ancient Ruins. At the entrance. Nice.
Is the ending credits footage boring? Well, depends on your tastes. But it isn't very dull, you get to see the characters doing cool Job stuffs.
Indeed. There's probably more, but I'll edit more depth to this later.
